December 18th, 2007 08:36 PM #85the SLEX has always been shitty, but somehow i have no problem with it. i traverse it daily and it's a good training ground for the reflexes. the cars suffer though. batangas? SLEX and star toll is still the best route.

The road mentioned here is the one from Tagaytay leading to Talisay/Laurel/Tanauan, Batangas which will bring you down to a road just beside Taal Lake.... If you want to go to Star Tollway,- turn left once you hit the dead end (actually, if you go straight,- you'll dive into Taal Lake....)
Turn left on the Rotonda (whether the one in Aguinaldo Hiway or the one from Sta Rosa, Laguna / Silang, Cavite).... Just keep an eye to your right and a few hundred meters before reaching Picnic Grove,- you will see a sign that points to a road leading to Batangas... Keep your seatbelts on, use low gears as the ride is sharply curving and steeply downhill and be ready for the drive of your life..... Enjoy!
(Seriously, I discourage relatively new drivers to take this road! Really dangerous...)

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
