tama ka, bro. Nag advise na skyway corp na tuloy na ang extension ng skyway from bicutan to alabang. Kaya ang trapik ngayon susana heights to nichols at any given time.

Kanina umaga as I am on my way to makati, yung southbound, nasa nichols ang dulo ng trapik, it would take aroung 3-4 hours bago ka makarating ng susana heights. Useless na din ang skyway ngayon

I'd rather take coastal road then alabang zapote road going to alabang.

an kagandahan ng current set-up ngayon na divided into single lanes ang portion from alabang to San Pedro is that di na makaporma mga naka-wangwang! Single pile na kasi kaya wala silbi wangwang nila!

I admire SLEX for being brave enough to even dare call itself an EXPRESSWAY these days. How can you call a "highway" a highway whereinfact it's almost in day-to-day basis that you have to suffer heavy traffic at the Nichols Toll, at the C5 exit area Southbound, and almost at all exits in the expressway? Bicutan and Sucat exits both causes heavy traffic in SLEX due to the old-age traffic system that the road-users have to deal with upon exit (aka the TRAFFIC ENFORCERS who just let one lane pass for a hell of 10 minutes while all the other lanes pile up up to the end of the previous exit).

Going to Makati using SLEX is smooth-sailing at morning for me from Bicutan up to Nichols toll. After that it's traffic all the way to Magallanes, which is about half an hour to drive through for a relatively short distance. Going home from work by 5pm, smooth-sailing from Magallanes up to Merville exit, after that it's a long way ahead to Bicutan. Add to that the times when I also have to give the wages to our drivers at late night, half of the toll plaza in nichols is closed, making the lines longer on the wretched highway. And to think they dare raise their toll prices for their so-called "service"? God, you dont even deserve being paid for that.

My travel time these days from Villamor to Bicutan using the SLEX takes about an hour by the time I go home from work, compared to taking the service road that consumes just about half. Sure you make stops due to the jeeps, but it's way better than what SLEX is offering, especially now that the service road has been repaired.

SLEX is just a pain to travel on these days. There's no room for expansion even. How I wish that they could just consider the thought of making the SKYWAY as an extension and make its prices equal to that of SLEX.

I noticed the contractors of the SLEX expansion have been busy painting the concrete barriers recently. To ease traffic however, the contractors should now 'revise' the lane markings to fit the adjusted lanes especially further south past Susana heights, San Pedro.

Yeah I agree, it's really a wildcard out there. It's scary to think that at the rate of car sales these days and the absence of volume restrictions, expect the traffic to get worse.

Lately, they took out the pink barriers at Nichols used to separate those heading straight to Bicutan and those going up the bridge. What happens is that vehicles come from the leftmost lane and do a kamikaze cut to the right to get ahead of others heading up the bridge. It's pandemonium out there and nobody is really managing the situation.

As in all things in this country. Kanya kanyang diskarte..

Before sa NLEX, grabeng hirap inabot ko twing uuwi from Makati to Olongapo via San Fernando exit.

I hope matapos nila ang project on schedule with no or less corruption! Teka, number one corrupt country na pala ang P.I. (Sorry poh O.T.)

Personally nagsimula na kalbaryo sa SLEX. If you drove there nung Saturday you can see for yourself. Sa may Merville pa lang up to Alabang talaga traffic southbound. Kahit Northbound grabe rin. Jeez..

I've experienced NLEX bago pa ung renovation. Lagi pa kong on-site nun at grabe nga talaga ung traffic. Kaya lang NLEX applied higher toll fees AFTER they widened their roads. Eh ung SLEX?

Nage-mail na nga ko sa kanila e, only reply, "We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced on our road. Rest assured we will do our best to address this issue. Thank you."
