ah ok... probably the basis of your adjustment is from the calamba to alabang side nga, which i think is under repair.

Those were the days

From what I've heard, they slashed 10% from the previous rate which is applicable only within the SLEX stretch that is under repair.

Terrible traffic these days at SLEX, especially at night and more so when it's raining. The lanes at the Alabang viaduct are very narrow, increasing accident risks. Traffic signages and lights are non-existent. It's a virtual free-for-all, bahala ka sa buhay mo style. To think that this is supposed to be a toll road. The 10% toll discount is surely not worth the hassle, the danger, the wasted time and fuel, and the wear and tear of vehicles. Worst of all, the project completion is probably not even 10% at this point! It seems that most of the work is being done during a normal 8-hour shift.

May daan papunta duon. Kaso pag labas mo sa shell, sira sirang daan ang madadaanan mo. walang ibang madadaanan. Nasubukan ko na so never again.

not only in the viaduct. even sa southbound near susana hts area, ginawang single lanes with barriers. SO if may nasiraan, barado na and everybody will have to reverse!

peeps, grabe talaga ngayon ang southbound lane ng slex because of road widening from alabang to calamba plus the repair of the alabang viaduct. mas lumalala pag may nahulog na sasakyan sa "alternate" road na may unpainted concrete barrier. zero visibility talaga pag gabi kasi yung opposite lane naka-bright, di mo na makita yung side ng "alternate" road na malalim. maraming nang nahulog na sasakyan sa malalim na gilid ng road, monstrous bottleneck ang nangyayari. from alabang to petron sometimes it takes more than 3 hrs. bakit ayaw pinturahan ng reflectorized paint ang mga temporary concrete barriers?

    Tama ito....

Kagabi, we were Northbound (from Calamba to Alabang),- mahirap talagang makita ang mga center barriers lalo na at umuulan at naka-bright ang kasalubong.

I wonder if TSIKOT as an organization can do something to petition PNCC and/or the government to do something about the worsening situation at SLEX for the sake of safety, fuel conservation, time and cost savings for motorists and commuters. Maybe we can join up with other motoring and civic groups in this campaign. I don't think that it's enough that we just ventilate our concerns and grievances here. If we don't take up the cudgels, maybe no one will.

It took me one hour from bicutan to alabang at 7 am this morning due to a stalled truck northbound. 30-45 minutes have been added to my trips lately due to the poorly managed road widening and construction at SLEX.
