Happaned to my mum. This kid and her maid was painting at our paint shop one day, the kid had her own design for her mug as she asked my mum to put stickers in the end.

Right after my mum left the maid picked the mug up and painted it her way. :ugh:

then my mum asked why she didnt put the stickers like the kid wanted and she yelled out 'wala ka naman sinabi eh'

My mum got ticked off and said ' ah eh english pag sabi ko hindi mo lang siguro maintindihan'

score one for my mum lol

same goes with some drivers of foreigners or rich people....kapag anjan ang mga amo nila, akala mo di makabasag pinggan, pag wala na, akala mo kung sinong hari kung magmaneho at umasta....
but as always they are more of the exception than the rule...marami din naman akong nakilalang mga helpers ng mayayaman and foreigners na likas na mababait.....

Wow... i could not believe what i have read in this thread. Too much stereotypes/ prejudice against maids in this thread na yung iba, hindi ko na quote. Guys/gals, they are the people who takes care of our children, help cook our meals etc etc and what, for a paltry sum all because they dont have a choice. It is very possible that the maid did not notice the car beside it since mataas yung expedition. di naman nila gusto maging mahirap di ba? di nila gustong iwan pamilya at anak nila para magalaga ng ibang anak or maglinis ng ibang bahay di ba?

i hate resurrecting a 4 year old thread and start appearing as confrontational but i just could not keep this to myself. pasensya na sa mga na-quote ko

he-he! di nakita nung maid yung car beside the expy? ang laki nun, bro.

Likewise with me, sir. You take pains in making sure that despite all the stuff you have to lug around, you do not touch/scratch the car next to you. And here comes your yaya, without a care in the world.

We threat our help as part of our family. We even offer education to who are willing, para naman pag nakapag tapos sila eh di graduate na rin sila sa pagiging house help.

Alam mo ba kung ano ang masaklap? Mas pinili nilang mag boypren.

We also help them as much as possible... Automatic utang dahil mapuputulan na ng kuryente tinitirhan ng magulang nila, medical assistance is also extended to the family of our house help.

and also, don't buy too much things at home para konti lang ang linisin. for example, wag bumili ng mga estatwa or pigurin na pang display na naalikabukan, wag mag-carpet. and also never entertain the concept of bodega. anything not used for 3 months or so is better off na ipamigay or ibenta.

if you own less things, you have less mind clutter and therefore, you don't need extra help.

sa Amerika nga and other Developed nations, yun middle class don't have maids. tapos dito nagpapa-practice tayo ng ganyan.

i've been observing people na ganyan eh disembarking say sa Shangrila Mall or Greenbelt, ito yun nanay sobrang taba pero pustura tapos ipasara at pabukas lang pinto ng SUV iaasa pa sa katulong or driver. tapos eto naman si tatay equally big, na mamawis-mawis na kaagad dun sa kakarampot na no aircon between mall entrance and mall driveway, tapos hindi man lang magbuhat ng bags, inaasa pa sa payatot na katulong. and then the kids, wow! ganun din ang tataba na ang ba-brat, tapos sakay lang, parang walang intindi.

by just seeing that, i can imagine their household spending like 300K / month just to maintain that status quo or daily process.

God gave us a very good body to handle things big or small, even the daily grinds. pansin ko kasi pag mas matanda mas tamad eh. bibihira ang mga matatanda na may fit body. only shows they are living a parasitical puro pasarap life.

totoo naman talaga eh. "efficiency is the highest form of laziness." we are living in a world na we are trying to replace all forms of work by efficient systems and computers. for what, for us to just always sit around.

yun mga dermaclinic, spas, parlors as well as the selling of feel-good lotions, ointments, drugs, pills sa katawan, those are all just makeshift solutions to make people feel better with the body.

there is only one solution for us not to feel heavy inside and out, perspire to the max. even the cavemen age, perspiration is considered as their bath na. by walking/running daily, sa sobrang grabe ng pawis nila na-rejuvinate ang katawan nila and therefore they look fit and strong.

perspiration is the fountain of youth also. hindi nyo kelangan ng anti-aging applications sa mukha or whatever. if you perspire everyday, mas mukang bata kayo at your age. look at athletes in the 30+ up.

    ---
