yesterday afternoon in front of SM supermarket Makati and Ace Hardware, i parked my car on the side just before the pedestrian lane to get my wife who was waiting at the mall entrance with our groceries, turned on my hazard warning lights and when i was just about to get out of my car, a gray 99' ford expedition parks beside me and suddenly opens its front passenger door hitting the front left fender of my car. A maid in uniform got out and had the nerve to stare at me like she didn't care if she hit my car, then she opened the back passenger door of the exped like nothing happened and a female american got out then their car went off. When they were walking towards the mall entrance i got out of my car to follow and tell the lady that her maid hit my car with her car door and how arrogant she is. The lady was nice and gave me her calling card for us to settle the damage on my car and told her maid to apologize for her behavior.

Nakakapikon ung mga ganito. ung mga maid and drivers na akala mo kung sinong umasta dahil foreigner ang amo nila. it just ruined my day. uuwi na lang kami nabadtrip pa ko.

You really can't expect much from a maid. Good luck with the settlement, hopefully it's not that bad. You could have told the foreigner to let the maid pay for the damages. That should teach her.

unahan lang sa galit at sindakan yan. baka nga yun din ang expression nya ng surprise at takot. and yes, she won't think it's a big deal at hihiritan ka pa ng 'maarte'. later on magiging rich vs poor na ang usapan. tapos 'di mo sya naiintindihan'. and so on and so forth hanggang tumigil ka na sa inis. hehe. tyranny of the poor.

It's a good thing that her American boss was kind enough to fix the situation her maid got into. Don't expect much from maids (hindi naman lahat) but a majority of them don't have the right manners probably because of their upbringing, it's also good that you kept your cool and the situation was resoved.

try to tell her that the damage costs 1 year of her household service. ewan ko lang kung magkalakas pa siya ng loob na tamaan yung tsikot mo

i just spoke with the american lady and settled with an amount so that i can get my fender fixed, she told me that the amount we agreed on plus the dent on her car door will come out from her maid's salary to teach her a lesson, warned also her driver to be careful parking next time. The lady was easy to talk with and very nice.

As for the maid, sana matuto ka na. you learned your lesson the hard way. Be careful moving around things specially if their not yours. Kay manong driver naman next time pag bababa si amo, park on the side of the road/street not on the side of a car. careless pa naman si inday.

TRUE, there was this tambay that was letting her small kid walk all over my car's hood. When I told her to put her kid down, nagalit siya. Bakal naman daw ang kotse- di masisira.

naalala ko tuloy nun nag wowowrk pa ko sa ortigas, nag boboard ako shaw blvd. Dinadala ko yun kotse ko ng monday, then park sa backyard ng brdg. haus under the manggo tree, tas uuwi ko n lang sya ng friday nyt...taga probinsya kase ko.

Tas napapansin ko dumadami yata yun gasgas at dents ko sa hood at yun wiper lagi nakalaylay sa hood pagdadating ko sa gabi. Then 1 nyt pag uwi ko nagsumbong yun kapitbahay na korean, basag daw yun black thing sa bumper ko (she was referring to my dummy headlamp washers) at sinumbong pa na pag aalis ko daw papasok ng ofc, aakyat yun mga anak ng landlady ko sa puno at tatalon sa bubong ng kotse ko then slide sa windshield papaba sa hood then tapak sa washers para umakyat uli. In short ginawang playground kotse ko.

Sa galit ko kinausap ko yun landlady ko..pero pinagtaasan ako ng boses n wala daw ako proof na anak nya gumawa nun hanggang sa nagkasigawan na kami, may-maya umiyak yun isang bata, sabi "mama, di nmn ako naglalaro dun, si **** (kapatid nya) so caught in the horse's mouth din sila. Instead makipag ayos yun landlady ko, tinalikuran ako at pinagsarhan ng pinto.
Tagal kong kinatok pero ayaw ako pansinin..so sinuntok ko na lang pinto nila hanggang finally lumabas..sabi ko di ako papayag di nila byaran o palitan yun nasira ng mga anak nya. Buti dumating yun asawa at medyo ayos kausap, hahanap daw sya kapalit nun washers ko..turn out di nakakita so ginawa ko di ako nagbayad ng 2 mos. rent at umalis na sa pesteng brdg. haus na yun.

Ot yata kas edi arrogant maid..but arrogant landlady.

Naku dami ganyan! Ito ngang kapitbahay ko sinigawan ako dahil nag mane obra lang ako ng sasakyan sa tapat nila eh ang laki laki ng kalsada dito sa d. tuazon (4 lanes) sandali lang naman at nag salansan lang ako ng sasakyan. Wala pa siguro 10min buong process.

Eto pa malupit, ganoon din sa tapat namin na kindergarden school pareho attitude at nag re rent lang sila sa pamilya ng wife ko. Nagagalit din pag nag park ka sandali.

Hindi na maid yan ha!
