Mitsubishi colt galant 1976. Grabe ang laki ng pakinabang ko. mabilis, low maintenance. I'd even fully restored it, parts bought from banawe and evangelista...sold it in 1997 to a close friend..Still running as of today......![]()

Volkswagen Beetle - eto yung napagpraktisan ko ng husto since high school days usually tuwing weekends ako tagahugas with the price na iikot ko sya within sa area lang namin.
Daihatsu Charade 2-door - my first car out of my own pocket. nice power to weight ratio, handling and most of all, di mahirap bihisan. Dito ako talaga natuto mag-DIY and pormahan, at certain point feeling ko parang naging ricey na yung iba..hehe that was me a few years back nung binata pa ako at walang inatupag kundi ang auto....but sad to say had to sell it it couple of years ago, nahirapan din akong pakawalan actually, madami kaming masasayang sandali together huhuhuh....
My first car I think was way back 1993! It was a black Mitsubishi Lancer GTI automatic transmission after the box type series. I think that was one of the first brand new automatic transmission cars marketed here in Pinas. Medyo malakas sa gas kase lagi ako natratrapik sa taft when I was still in school! (hehehehe)
Dito sa car ko na ito ko ata naranasan ibat-ibang klaseng aksidente kase bago pa lang akong nagmamaneho noon. Kaya after two years of using it, dinispose na rin namin. Nadala na ako sa kotseng itim!
Ganda pa naman ng audio set-up nun 'coz I sought the help of some of my audio gurus in those days! Kala nga nila lalaki ang driver kase brusko ang set-up pero marami ang nagulat to find out na babae pala may-ari nito! (hehehehe)![]()
mine was a 96 pajero gen2...it was my dads car pero binigay nya sakin when he bought a new one..sandali ko lang nagamit nung 4th year highschool ako kasi student permit lang meron ako..my mom sell it and bought me a new gen2.5 m/t as a graduation gift nung highschool ako(used it during college days)...pero i really love my gen2 more than my gen2.5 cguro dahil dun ako natuto...:drive1:after seven years, nung binenta nung nakabili samin, binili ko ulet(first car i bought)...medyo dami nga lang pinaayos, pero ngayon ok na ulet...nasakin na ulet ang first car ko!:clap:the first car i bought was my first car....![]()
[quote=Galactus;959432]My 1st car was a 1980 Galant Sigma. quote]
Same here po. Galant Sigma galing sa dad ko.
Nung Highschool and College ako yun ang ride ko.
Pina-engine transplant pa yun from Astron 80 to Cirus 80. Lakas sa gaso, kse solex carb sha, pero ok lang, way back 1994-95 kase a liter of premium gasoline is only 10 petot lang (yata), di ko pa iniinda yung pang gaso kahit sa allowance ko kunin.
Nabenta pa yun ng 30K nung 1998, alaga kase talaga.

My first car was a 1979 corolla (SR, 2T engine). Passed down to me from my dad when i was in 2nd yr High School. Grabe, sobrang mahal ko yung kotseng un. May sentimental value kasi sakin yun dahil my dad bought it on the same day i was born. Sabi nga ng niya kambal ko daw un. Hehehe! I sold it about 5 yrs ago and swerte ang nakakuha nun kasi alagang alaga yun. Kakamiss naman.........

Hey I know that car! Di ba 2 door yan? My Dad used to have one, 1979 din, brown ang color tapos ang original rims ay may hubcap pa na black and chrome hehe. Ka-batch nyan yun Mitsubishi Galant na 2 door din and the Toyota Macho Machine na si Jawo pa ang endorser.
I think the SR stands for Sport Rally.

Just like one of the Ford posters above, mine was a 74 Cortina E.
I got to the point of restoring the car from a shabby & rusty car to one that is as shiny as a new car; wet look as it is called that time!
During those days, I still had time to maintain the car personally so it gave me several months (or years) of uninterrupted driving. But age of the car starts to creep in and it breaks down every now and then to a point that you would'nt want to drive it during a date for it might konk out on you (well, it did happen to me, unfortunately, it wont start!)
That car was an experience. I learned a lot on what to fix and how to drive on limp mode when **** happens. Today, limp mode is determined by your cars' computer hahaha
I always wish I could keep it restored for driving on weekends but it was deteriorating faster than I could maintain it. And besides, good mechanics are hard to come by already during those days; mostly quacks abound!![]()
my first real car was a hand me down 93 corolla gli from my brother. it was in a sorry condition when i got it. but after some TLC and some engine mods, ok na sya. kaya lang ta total wreck sya when i hit a stalled dumped truck. thank god for comprehensive insurance.
mine was not a car, but a pickup truck. an 80s model toyota hilux single cab with a 1L diesel engine. mahaba din ang pinagsamahan namin nito bago pinamana sakin yung w201 ng erpats ko![]()
Here's mine...
Fresh from the casa!
No Airbags, ABS or Seatbelt.
Was a Convertible.
Enjoyed it while it lasted
P.S. the MB123 in the background was my Dad's.
mine is a 1991 corolla xl that i aquired in 1998. nasa bahay pa rin with my other cars.
My first car was a used 1976 white Trans Am with golden chicken on the hood, red interior, and "Ghost Rider" (recent flaming skull movie with Nicolas Cage) plate up front. Previous owner was a death rocker. What a slob....
