Oo nga, nabasa ko pagkatapos kong mag-post. Nyahaha...

So ganun pala iyun, pang-maintain lang pala ang gas na pina-pump during engine brake, and the RPM's beyond 1000 are from the momentum... galing.

But then again, higher RPM means more wear and tear on the pistons, piston rings, etc...

Or at least, jayemkay and I know, IYKWIM...

yeah, me point din naman ang mga comments regarding the engine braking thing. Whats the use of having brakes if you are gonna deprive them of their purpose para lang makabawi sa ibang parts or function ng auto, di ba? If there is no confirmed or substantiated benefit to using an alternative to brakes, then, heck, USE THE BRAKES! hehehe

A major benefit of engine braking is enabling a driver to slow down and maneuver the car at the same time, in cases where split-second evasive action becomes the ONLY option to avoid an accident. Sometimes braking to a standstill is not enough to guarantee safety; you have to power yourself away from danger as quickly as your reflexes will allow, and that is possible by keeping the car in gear.

This is especially true for vehicles which do not have the benefit of ABS, since a full brake lock-on removes a car's maneuverability.

... or just "drive in your most comfortable clothing"...

re: footwear: oks lang ang rubber shoes or thin shoes (parang beach-walking shoes, iyung pang-swimming and snorkeling to protect your feet from sharp rocks) or "kung-fu" shoes... pero pinakakomportable pa rin sa akin ang paa lang o naka-medyas...

Whatever suites you.

Secondly, my foot almost never leaves the clutch, whether naka tapak ako, or simpleng patong lang. Its kinda like an insurance policy (??)
Make an effort na wag yan tatapakan pag d kailangan.

Like, heat rejection.

Fourth, parang automatic lang sakin basta me nakita ako slope na pababa, i put the gear in neutral and relax, turning my car into a go-cart.
Sobrang delikado nyan. Baka kapusin ka in braking if needed. Basta pababa, first thing, just remove ur foot on the clutch but dont shift, lalong wag sa neutral. Now kung feel mo mabilis pa rin, pump the brakes a little then downshift a little.

And lastly, hindi rin pwedeng wala ang asawa ko sa tabi ko, kasi i ALWAYS forget to put on my seatbelt, and sya ung taga paalala sakin hehehe
Ala ka seatbelt warning sa dash?

Ako hindi lumalayo ng walang kasama. Kasi kelangan ko tagatanong ng directions, lol!
