for me its the 2004 honda accord 2.0 of my friend. Sarap ng feeling kasi very comfortable ride even at very high speed, very powerful, great for long distance driving. Sana eto na next car ko.![]()
I don't know which is best. But, I've test driven multiple times:
2006 Models: While looking for our Dodge van replacement (and settled for a 3.3L V6 Sonata)
Mazda6 V6
Nissan Maxima SE
Acura RL
Infinity G35 coupe
Chrysler 300C V8
My friend's 550hp 2005 Subaru Impreza STi. No, it's not for sale.
1995 (When I bought my Contour)
Lexus SC400
Nissan Maxima SE
1991 (When I bought my Plymouth Laser RS Turbo)
Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo
Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo
GMC Syclone -ok, not a car. But, it'll kick the crap out of all those I mentioned here. Well, except my friend's STi.
The best I liked among them? The SC400

Not very high in HP but tops in handling! Sigh...sold it in 2004![]()
Wow... nice ressurection! And a good thread to resurrect!
The most entertaining cars I've driven have been the RS (best steering) and our previous toy car, a modified Sentra FE. Sure, the FE had no power (horsepower, power windows,... oh but it had power steering), but on sticky tires and with a lowered suspension, it was very light (no insulation, no electronics), chuckable and forgiving on the trickiest roads.
It was a pain in the a$$ to drive on the highway, though.
Most comfortable drive ever... hmmm... would have to be a Camry... or Volvo S80 T6...
Am still waiting for my turn at the XJR... maybe someday...![]()
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
volvo s40 (diesel)
honda accord 1.8 (2003 model)
opel vectra (2004 model)

lexus is - this one i test drove when he was still selling it way back '98
cayenne

first car i ever drove VW beetleand i drove it alone. learned to drive with no help from anyone. it was the whole experience of excitement, fear and nerves of driving first time and alone to boot along with the beetle's nimble handling, genuine old car smell, the puttering sound she made plus the occasional stalls
that made it special.
my sisters Infinity m30- fast car, smooth, all power..i accidentally did a 270 degrees turn. scarey.
my sisters 2 door acura legend, for me, fast, but not as fancy as I would have hoped.
my precious 94 honda prelude si, i just loved that little car..so sweet.
my dream car was the toyota mr2..too bad i never drove one![]()
Chevrolet Classic - This car is common among Avis fleets. Nothing much to say about it. I would go for a Pontiac Grandam over it anytime of the day.
Chevrolet Malibu - Same as the Classic but with a softer touch on the steering wheel.
Oldsmobile Alero - Nice ride. Drives like a Grandam but with better acceleration. A bit soft on the steering.
Pontiac Vibe - Drives like a car but the acceleration ain’t as good. Fun to drive though and comfortable inside.
Pontiac Grandam - I am quite comfortable with this ride. Had logged more miles on this car than anything I have driven. Comfortable inside and the acceleration is great, not to mention the way it handles itself on the road. Always a first option for me when going to Avis. Used one for more than 3 months straight and drove from Minnesota to Ohio and back on a rental and never did encounter a problem with it, may it be driving on interstates in heavy rain or fog. Hehehe…
Pontiac G6 - I enjoy driving this car, much like the Grandam. A bit smaller in size compared to other midsize cars but it's still a good ride. I like the the way it purrs when cruising on the road (di maingay sa loob) unlike other cars na maririnig mo yung ugong kapag nag-accelerate sa kalsada.
Mitsubishi Galant 2004 V6 - At first look, mukhang mabigat dalhin but its gas pedals are responsive...mabilis tapos maluwag sa loob.
Honda Accord 2003 V6 - my friend owns a fully-loaded one (with GPS and other stuff). Never did took it for a long ride, hanggang street at driveway lang. Comfortable tapos mabilis humataw. Di rin maingay sa loob even at high speeds or accelerating.
Wishing to drive a Zoom-zoom (Mazda 3 or Mazda 6) at yung Honda Civic na 2.0....at Bimmer na rin kapag talagang sinuwerte.....![]()
