June 21st, 2007 09:17 PM #6tama tlaga cnabi ng other tsikoteers d2 na u should alot money for fixing kc for sure may sakit sa ulo ang 2nd hand cars and you don't know when will it occur.. tsaka mejo old model na tlaga sha mejo dami na problema tlaga yan sir... kaya ako antay ko na lang chery kahit na china brand atleast bnew car.. dami murang car na 2nd hand (lalo na sa mga buynsell maaattract ka tlaga bumili sa kanila sa mura) pero interms of quality wala ka kacguraduhan...
The best thing to do is to please the seller...

nag ooverheat pag sobrang traffic

June 21st, 2007 09:39 PM #9well, you can take it into court.
you can argue that the seller did not declare to you the problems the product has, which i guess may fall as fraud, which is a criminal charge.
or you can have the court declare the sale resicnded because the seller did not live up to his promises, which is to give you a "vehicle fit for use", or whatever you guys have in your contract.
but litigation is lengthy, and it would be hard to prove that the seller has guilt, especially since he sold a pre-owned vehicle (in which the buyer must assume the vehicle is near anywhere but flawless).
you might as well use the legal fees you're paying to fix the car. you can try to talk to the seller, but it is highly unlikely that he'd take back the car.
so to all buyers of second-hand vehicles, it would be better to ask upfront what the problems of the vehicle are. just explain to them that it's better that way than you storming back to them for selling you a piece of junk fit for coral farming.
if the seller won't tell you, then i guess the car's not a good buy.
caveat emptor.

AFAIK, may thread dito about things to do/check for when buying a 2nd hand car. Searching is your friend.
Although I think good for 6 years naman normally ang tires, personally I will look for newer ones....
