Its not a simple YES OR NO. Everything depends. First of all the price. Maskin binaha yan tapos proven its fixed (pero expect gremlins later) tapos yung price rock bottom eh di pwede na din.

November 7th, 2009 03:51 PM #5nope... for me i won't buy a a vehicle that's damaged by flooding... yun nga na second hand cars na di nabaha merong masasakit sa ulo eh.... yun pa kayang binaha... sabi nga ng mechanic namin.... magagawa ang nabaha na car kung sa magagawa pero eventually may lalabas at lalabas na problema which would cost you more...

June 21st, 2019 05:37 PM #8My stance, if flooded, no. You never know what problems will pop up. And if cant afford tinkering and spending a lot of time with the car being checked or repair down the line, i would say to find another alternative instead.
As for the seller claiming wala pa nagbalik or nagreklamo sa kanya, technically, he is most likely lying and its part of the pitch.
Tapos yung mas huli mo pa malalaman, failure ng mechanical parts like bearings and what not.

Generally it is a bad idea to buy a flooded car even if it was "fixed". Why? Water damage can be hidden and would take time for it to come out.
Example is the wiring, water trapped in the wiring can corrode the wire over time. Finding the corroded portion will be difficult and might require replacement or a whole car rewiring job to fix properly.

November 14th, 2009 10:05 AM #10it is alright to buy flooded cars if you are knowledgeable in cars. Expect higher maintenance for this..
From what I've seen in that YouTube video, it does look like Nissan has made some nice improvements...
