Easy to say, hard to verify yung claim na yan, until lumabas na yung sakit/bulok ng sasakyan or whatever you've bought.

Have it checked thoroughly muna by a mechanic you can trust.
some time past, someone posted here his experience with a flooded car.
i remember him narrating, that electrical glitches would pop up from time to time, after the car was "fixed up", even years after the flooding occured.

Its doing great.. now at 40k kms.. can do 10km/l on city drive.. if you want matipid get a cvt or diesel

Actually minsan yung "tipid sa gas" mas ramdam pag mura gas.. pag tumaas like 60 pesos per liter.. ayan lahat ng sasakyan malakas sa gas

hmmm. been driving for a long time and personally, normal sa akin yung tamaan ng water yung flooring, halos gutter deep lang yun kung nasa Espana ka.

e.g. Ecosport has a wading depth of 550mm pero 200mm lang ground clearance nya. so kakayanin nya na lumusong at tamaan ng tubig yung flooring.

Not sure about the current prices ng used cars, pero kung gusto mo yung car, baka magamit mo yung "flood" pang negotitiate.

Kung alangan ka about flooded cars and small imperfections, I suggest brand new bilhin mo.

[emoji4]

My stance, if flooded, no. You never know what problems will pop up. And if cant afford tinkering and spending a lot of time with the car being checked or repair down the line, i would say to find another alternative instead.

As for the seller claiming wala pa nagbalik or nagreklamo sa kanya, technically, he is most likely lying and its part of the pitch.

Tapos yung mas huli mo pa malalaman, failure ng mechanical parts like bearings and what not.
