Oo nga... if you have the budget, it's up to you.
But a more prudent approach would be to keep your stock color. The 20k or so you would need for a wash-over could be spent on other things, like mags, tires, lowering springs...

and the like.
By the way:
Type R is a model designation, much like VTi or LXi, but in this case, it pertains to a Civic hatchback with a 1.6 liter 185 hp engine and a stiffer suspension set-up than the regular Civic. It's a killer car.
SiR pertains to the sedan model sold here in the Philippines with the same engine in a slightly lower state of tune (160-170hp). It's pretty fast, but the suspension and chassis are relatively light-duty in comparison to the Type-R. It
can be upgraded to Type-R suspension specs, though, and there are a lot of aftermarket parts for it.
Despite being tame compared to the Type R... compared to most of the cars we get here in the Philippines, it's still very very quick.
And, by the way, I still like the SiR front bumper better... :lol:
