magsuffer talaga ang visibility ng HID lamps tuwing umuulan. most oem headlamps that have HID still uses halogen for the high beam.

December 24th, 2006 12:49 AM #4AFAIK, yung safe (pag umuulan) HID temp level is at 4300K.
IMHO, hindi naman waste of money. It looks nice. Basta lang maayos yung install ng HID mo at hindi sabog yung buga (so as not to annoy other motorists), okay yan. My personal preference is the 6000K temp.

Agreed... if it's just the bulbs without the projector assembly to aim it... kung sabog-sabog lang yung ilaw, it's not even as effective as ordinary bulbs in a projector assembly.
And it wasn't raining, note.
I think that the best would be the lower temperature range bulbs... yellowish light really does penetrate rain and fog better. That's the reason why streetlamps are that color.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

nope, it depends on the brand, di lahat ng HID is HID, may fake n HID, like ung mga mura. if u wanna go for a brighter HID, then dun ka sa may mga brand. Ang orig n hid is nag rarange from 25k and up (depende p s brand yun). I read it in the internet site, cant remember ung website.

Keep in mind that all retrofit kits are illegal in other markets irregardless of the brand because it is the lens optics of the stock headlamps that cannot handle the beam pattern of such retrofits.
Other retrofits use the name of the ballast supplier (e.g. Philips) as their BRAND NAME! Giving the buyer the impression that the kit was made by Philips (or whatever name brand they are using). Where in fact, whoever made the retrofit kit only bought parts from [insert big name manufacturer here].
