yep same thing sa Honda plant.. yung mga engine di pa nakakabit sa chassis they run it at top speed to properly seat the valves. Tapos sa end din ng production they do a test drive and run it at highspeed.

Although it doesnt hurt if you do your own break in din.. it says so in the manual yung brakes kailangan din ibrake in so avoid running at high speeds and sudden stops.

usually kase samanufacturing process ng engine may minute metal particles na naiwan sa loob during the factory break in period kaya yung iba pinapalitan yung oil sa 1t km. Yung sa Rav4 and CR-V ngayon AFAIK sa 5t km na palitan. Yung 1t km check up lang libre naman
