as for the katay naman, nakuha ko ang idea sa pinagbilan ko ng parts for my sentra. bumibili sya ng old cars para ikatay and nag memekaniko din sya. seemed like a stable business... so i thought that if i also have a whole parts repository that i sell but could also use to repair the cars that i buy and sell, i could bring the prices of the unit down by a large margin, therefore faster to sell (assuming nga that theres still demand for the unit)... just wondering the best cars to make katay (already have a friend with a 1995 civic that i could make katay!)...

btw, were not in it completely for the money were in it so we could also drive different cars, and as a pastime (we like working on cars).
If you're in it for the novelty of getting to drive all the 90s cars you never got to drive back in the 90s, then this is your chance. Set aside 150-200k per car na papaikutin mo for purchase and repairs.

However, don't expect to be getting pristine units. More often than not, the units you'll find are heavily modded, poorly maintained, and barely running. You have to be really picky to find units in decent condition.

When I bought my '04 Mazda 3, it was already one of the fresher units available. But I still had to spend north of 50k to get it to the condition it is now (and it's not even 100% perfect yet).

I'm sure that I won't be able to sell my Mazda 3 for the same price or higher than how much I bought it plus repairs. So money pit siya more than a business.

Parts are cheaper for 90s sedans but most are surplus or replacement. And 90s sedans are often in worse condition.

kaya ko naman gawin mechanically sound yung kotse (pag pintura wag ako kausapin hehehe) if meron na nga ako yung parts repository, and hopefully hindi masyado malaki magastos ko...

ako nga din medyo senti ako sa mga cars and if meron na kailangan ibenta parang ayaw ko pa hehe, sana naman hindi ako magka "personal connection" sa mga kotse na buy and sell.

oo nga eh, alam ko naman na madali na lng bumili ng brand new this day and age. kasi honestly ako din eh, wala ako straight cash to lets say, buy a 200k altis. but meron ako lets say 60k pang down for a new vios... but anyway, as i said naman were not in it completely for the money, also for a pastime na din siguro... and to add, hindi naman siguro namin imamadali ang pagbenta ng car, para ma enjoy pa namin
