Pasalamat nga siya Ford will be replacing the whole transmission free of charge because of warranty. Papalitan lang unit niya ng Ford once umulit yung problem and will fall under the Lemon Law. And the definition of a lemon car is if it underwent repairs for the same problem numerous times. And we Ford owners have the Emergency Roadside Assistance in case we encounter a problem.

sir kung sa inyo po mangyari ito: "scenario"= nagkaroon ng total failure transmission ang inyong brand new ford everest at 2 a.m. in mount banahaw at may kasama ka pang bata na nag dedede , then whats your course of action? just curious sir and please enlighten us..because the owner of the subject new ford everest that malfunctioned in kennon is asking help and nobody replied yet (ford everest Phils facebook page)..or can you just say "thank you ford for your willingness to change my brandnew ford everest transmission, hulog po kayo ng langit"

Parang brand na nabili ng mga kapatid ko sa US na Ford at Chrysler pawang mga transmission ang una bumibigay. Kaya GMC at Lincoln na binibili nila other than Jap brand.

First batch din Titanium 4X2 ko na nakuha last September 3. Never had transmission or other problems. Quite satisfied with my purchase. Napaglaruan pa nga ng anak ko transmission habang 2 beses shift sa Sports Mode habang umaandar pero ok pa din.

There's nothing wrong in shifting to sports mode while driving at any speed it was designed to perform that way...Auto mode to Sports mode to Manual mode then back to Auto mode should perform well anytime. Check mo para malaman mo kung normal operation ng tranny mo, otherwise baka may problem yan kung ayaw mag-operate at any mode.

Sa manual mode it's normal not to upshift if hindi mo pa na reach ideal speed for the next gear.
Ang delikado eh yung accidentally ma-shift mo sa reverse or park while driving forward, i'm not sure kung may safety feature ang Ford just like other brands.

Just pray that those complicated transmission systems last longer. Imagine a trasnmission failing after few days of purchase, ibaba yan, kahoy car mo. And where will they do it, here sa mala-talyer na casa service sa likod.

These things are mass manufsctured sa ihi-tech plants with robots and strict world standard supervision.

Tapos ibaba lang ng contractual or subcon mechanic ng Ford, lol. Good luck on your expensive cars

I really dont know why most people give so much attention to new trasnmission tech, dct, cvt, at kung anu-ano pa. Di naman nagbabago road infrastructure natin, still parang a decade lagging behind the first world

Makatipid ka sa gas? Say plus 2km more per liter, comoute nyo, tipid ka 1k a month sa fuel or 12k or 36k a year. Tapos trasmission mo fail ng 3 years, 250k bill daw, di pa kasama labor lol

Ang hirap kasi pag binaba ang isang malaking module sa car, dami pwede madamay sa future na hindi nakabit ng maayos, so next month iba na naman problema. Parang ka na din na-ondoy

Ano yan Cornetto...bebebente? Wala naman discount and you paid the full amount for a premium model. For me the least that Ford should do is provide a loaner car of same top spec model with tankful of fuel and to speed up the repair process that way hindi masyadong inconvenient for the customer.
