To put to rest the issues on dimensions & engine power, I've checked the dimensions of the new Everest, old Fortuner & Montero in the dealer's websites:
Dimensions of All-New Everest LxWxH in millimeters: 4893x1862x1836
Engine power of 2.2L Diesel: 160PS
    Dimensions of Fortuner: 4705x1840x1850
    Engine power of 2.5L Diesel:144PS
    Dimensions of Montero Sport: 4695x1815x1840
Engine power of 2.5L Diesel: 178Ps
Hence, the new Everest is wider, longer & has the most engine power based on displacement.

By the way, I have a 2009 Fortuner & got my 4x2 Titanium Everest last month. The latter is significantly bigger, faster & has a lot better suspension system.

technical question: what type is the TPMS of the eve? iTPMS or dTPMS?

this could be a factor if i am going to change the wheels and/or tires. if it's iTPMS, is there an adjustment to the settings for a bigger tire diameter? my plan is to change the 265/50r20s to 275/55r20 tires and get 20" black rhino tanay rims. if it's dTPMS then i will only change the tires.

I intend to keep it r20 kahit magpalit man ako ng mags. Yung 285/50r20 naman actually mas maliit diameter sa 275/55r20.

Sorry but SUVs like the new Everest, Montero, Fortuner, Trailblazer, Land Cruiser etc. aren't for gym fit bodies like OB. Mas bagay daw mga SUVs for obese guys according to OB
