I just called Motolite Delivery to change battery, in 30 mins dumating na yung battery..Motolite Gold din ang nakalagay sa akin. The delivery guy attached a power bank to the poles first before removing the dead battery para wala ng irereset sa computer pag kinabit na ang new battery. So far no issues with the Motolite Gold, ok sya.
I think you still need to do a reset.

Sabi ni janemar before it has something to do with the charging rate or voltage. The computer box remembers that the battery is old so it will continue to charge the new battery as if the battery is still the old one. But there was no issue naman after i and another eve owner here chaned the batteries.

Just had my 30th month PMS at Makati Ford...the SA told me there's no need to do a reset for the Everest when you change battery (referring to Battery Monitoring System). Sa ibang model lang daw kelangan.

On another note, anyone else had problems with the rear aircon vents located sa headliner? walang lumalabas na hangin sa itaas na vents at the rear when I turn on the rear aircon switch. Pero meron lumalabas sa vent located near the rear passenger door on the right side. Meron palang vent dun? What is that vent for, eh deretso sa back ng right second row seat ang direction ng hangin? Seems strange to put an aircon vent at that location. Sabi ng SA, the problem might be the Actuator, they will have to confirm it pa.

those damn plastic actuators of ford. yan ang karamihang complaints especially sa dashboard. I really wish they change suppliers.

My 2016 everest started with jerking, first when you switch to reverse then after 1 week napunta pag nasa drive. Prior bringing to casa, we scan using obd and no error and last friday check ko yong underneath near transmission, may oil leak.
Brough to ford alabang and we road test and jerking was there and agreed with mechanic. I left my car to them and got feedback that they will pull down the transmission to check where the oil leak is coming. 15k charge sa pagbaba pa lang ng transmission and will visit them to tomorrow for detail discussion. Sad to say my eve already out of warranty last May only.

saan banda ang oil leak? sa oil pan? sana pina transmission oil change mo na lng ke "everest garage" it will shift poorly pag low trans fluid. change the transmission oil and filter every 2-3yrs. here is the 6r80 of the everest. it is also used on the ford f150.

it could be the ac blender. its a known issue for these multi zone climate control systems.. its plastic and it cracks. you can set driver side to 18c and passenger side to 28c check if it achieves these temperatures check visavis.

Nag mumuangmuangan pa yung casa as if hinde common defect ito ng Everest. Balitaan ko kayo. I just followed the advise of fellow owners here na ilaban ko na ng warranty dahil eventually it will worsen.

I had the same symptoms with my 2017 Trend, but not not consistently heard or felt. On my 40k PMS, I had it part of my complaints list, but was wary that the symptom would not be replicated during inspection.

Good news is, using the VCM-IDS, they were able to get a DTC. They tried to clear the DTC and reflash the ACIM(?) module, but the error was still there. The fault is acknowledged by the casa.

Bad news. The part (blender) is not available and they would still notify me when the part would be available to replace my defective unit.

    Hope this helps.

Tawag lang ba ako sa motolite to have the battery replaced or do i need to bring it to casa to reset something?

    thanks!

Charge mo muna battery. If ayaw then replace your battery. No need to bring it to the dealership.
