Noon una mahal ang lancer! now you can get one at less than 800k for a big body car

so heads up lang. I say wait muna kayo at wag padalos-dalos sa pagdecide for Mini-SUV. I believe the Kia Sportage EX at has already dropped to 1.050M. Take note that's ex (loaded versions) not the entry level LX of Kia.

Competition is up good to know that the car manufacturers are watching the market, mahirap din yun mabulaga na lang sila, Hindi na bumebenta yun existing models, tapes Ford is racking up sales. Imagine 70 wait-listed for the ecosport in just 1 branch, wow that can be an overnight success story

I work in BGC and it seems that every young employee in our dept. already know the ecosport like as if it were an upcoming hot gadget or something

Nice to hear that which is good for the Consumer re Competition. In India read that Ecosports price increased by 11% from the time it was launched in the Market.

With competition dropping prices there will be lots of choices to consider. With this at current price of Ecosport specially the top variant Titanium, Ford would find it difficult to increase its price above P1M mark even that being an upcoming hot gadget or something as you said ( Heard, heard lang kasi that Ford may increase price after the initial release of units ) .

    Good for every Car/SUV buyers

IMO even if the competition lower their prices it's a little too late.... And besides the deal breaker here is not just the price but it is also fuel efficient... With a small suv like styling...

regarding fuel efficiency, it may or May deliver as it claims on paper, but still this is a 1.0L on Philippine setting. the new ford explorer boasted its ecoboost engine and was marketed as fuel efficient but Hindi din umubra sa stop and go traffic natin

It's like the iPhone 5S, in Singapore and Korea, the iPhone 5S is battery efficient, why bec. Singaporean and Korean networks have state-of the art communication infrastructure, less disconnects, But here in the Phils, with Globe and Smart substandard communication facilities, our iPhone 5S drains battery faster even if you're not using but LTE on. Why bec. The freaking network and iPhone 5S spends more time connecting and disconnecting. Put that same analogy with our roads infrastructure, and that 1.0L engine could become exhausted and wear out faster ..

G4 is for city only. Think of it as your Asian Smart car, small yet effective in congested city.
Ecosport maybe can be used for weekend nearby out-of-town trips + city cruises during weekdays.
