Just saw and read this memo from LTO:

Ito yung understanding ko:

May difference and improvised plates vs temporary plates:

• Improvised Plates = pwedeng pagawa ng mga owners para sa mga nag-aantay ng replacement plates nila pamalit sa nawala/nasirang original plates
• Temporary Plates = plates na pwede gamitin habang wala pa yung actual plates galing LTO. May distinction din within temporary plates:
  
  
  • Registered before May 22, 2023 = pwede magpagawa yung owners ng sarili nilang plates, as long as aligned sa required format
  • Registered on or after May 22, 2023 = provided ng dealership kung saan binili yung sasakyan.
    
    
    • Kung wala pa actual plate number, conduction sticker number ang nakalagay.
    • Kung meron nang number, yun na dapat yung nakalagay sa temporary plate.
    
    
  
  

So sa case ko, dapat akong mag-request galing casa para magkaroon ako ng updated na temporary plates since meron na akong actual number galing LTO. Tama ba intindi ko? Or hindi na ito applicable?
Base kasi dito, hindi ako pwedeng magpagawa ng sarili ko lang.

Base sa pagkakaintindi ko, hindi ako pwede magpagawa ng sarili kong temporary plate kasi narehistro ako after May 22, 2023, tapos mga temporary plate galing casa lang din ang pwede. So ibig sabihin nito, dapat mang-hingi ako galing kila casa ng bagong temporary plate, pero imbes na conduction sticker number, dapat yung actual plate number ko na.

The dealer was the one who provided me with a temporary plate, i.e. if you consider their plastic plate with the conduction number (and MV File number din ata) and dealer name as the temporary plate.

Thank you sa mga reply! Tama nga kayo kasi kinausap ko din yung ahente ko sa dealership. Nag-iissue lang daw sila ng temporary plates with the actual plate number kapag wala pa rin yung plates from LTO, tapos nasira or nawala yung temporary plate nila with the conduction sticker number.

Yung issue ko lang kasi yung nasa conduction sticker number, Tuesday ang coding. Yung nasa actual plate ko, Monday ang coding. Kung hindi ako magpapa-gawa ng temporary plate na andun na yung actual plate number (sabi ni agent, currently september registrants na yung nirerelease, so hintayin ko na lang daw saglit na lang daw yun), bali anong dapat kong gawin? Mag-drive ng Tuesday, tapos ipakita lang yung ORCR pag hinule bilang patunay na Monday talaga ang coding ko, or Mag-drive ng Monday, tapos pakita lang ulet ng invoice in case may pumara at magcheck?

Or sa ganitong case, kelangan ko na ba talaga pagawa ng bagong temporary plate tapos plate number na yung andun?
