Either that or they wanted the base model to handle well enough even with 215s instead of the mid and top variants with 235s. I have a feeling the wide track also gave them room to soften the suspension a bit.

True for new Chinese cars like the Coolray, though the new Territory had input from Ford Australia's Design Center.

While...

1.5L CVT gets better power figures (H/P and Torque)

Observation lang naman, especially when comparing other Crossovers/MPVs sa atin (CVT vs A/T)
