This is the "Chinese Ford Territory" which is basically 1st Gen (not to be confused with the Australian Ford Territory)

Ford PH will launch the Territory crossover in August | TopGear PH

“With Ford’s heritage and global expertise in designing class-leading SUVs, we are confident that the all-new Ford Territory will resonate with Filipino customers looking for an all-in-one package in their SUV.”

Ford Territory compact crossover coming to PH | C!

It’s a compact crossover that’s aimed at individuals and small families with active lifestyles looking for a stylish and feature-packed ride that’s competitively priced. It will slot above the EcoSport and replace the discontinued Escape.

It looks small in the photos but it's actually a C-segment SUV with an overall length of 4580 mm (35 mm longer than the MG RX5)
    *Specs from Ford's Chinese website/brochure

I read up on it. It was developed by JMC (Ford's JV partner in China for utility vehicles) with the help of Ford's Melbourne R&D center in Australia.

The S330 allegedly shares the shortened Landwind X8 platform with the discontinued Landwind X7 with the higher end engine option of the X7 (Mitsubishi-based 2.0T ) dropped in favor of the ford ecoboost 1.5 (introduced in the 2017 X7 refresh).Development done in melbourne is probably for the interior and exterior restyle as well as suspension tuning

The S350 shares the T6 platform of the Everest/Ranger though

For sure handling & NVH was part of it, not sure if they were also responsible for the added tech like the Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver assist features (on some variants).

I have a feeling Ford-JMC really intended to make a "Ford" version since the sheet metal styling follows the same lines as other Fords, particularly the sculpted body sides, wheel arches and the Everest-like liftgate.
When the new Territory was introduced, the S330 vanished from the Yusheng website.
