Sa features ng entry level na ranger

-Automatic headlights
-Automatic rain sensing wipers
-600mm water wading
-Equipped with bed liner
-Cruise control
-17" Mag wheels
-Voice Command/ Recognition
-Bluetooth technology/ipod ready
-4" LCD screen

Yung iba limited, you'll need to pay extra sa bedliner just like navarra and colorado

i would like to post some of the items i have noticed with my unit (2.2 xlt m/t). kindly check if this is also true to your own unit or is it configurable;

- Side Turn Lamp Indicators Standard with Puddle Lamps (according to ford ph website) - Walang puddle lamp (ilaw sa ilalim ng side mirror?)
- Beltminder® Driver & Passenger - no audible alarm at any speed, just the red icon sa instrument cluster
- ignition keyhole illuminator saw this on the demo unit at ang sagwa tignan yung akin, kasi wala at parang tinanggal (asked my SA, told me sa 4x4 xlt lang daw meron)
- interior sensor or double lock not functioning. kahit double lock ko tapos galaw ako sa loob, hindi mag aalarm

Capacity nya. Same as sa colorado. Yung 800mm nila is for 4x4 variants or yung nagtaas ng ride height.

hindi ba HI-RIDER yung 4x2 xlt na offer nila dito sa pinas, which is the variant with increased ride ht? (1815mm overall ht vs 1716mm for the un-increased ht)

Just imagine the 2.2Li engine is performing as strong as a 3.1 4JG2 engine. I just hope kasing tibay ng 4JG2 din

comparing to the 3.0 hilux sir, walang low low rpm torque itong 2.2. kung mabagal ka lang magpatakbo pero gusto mo ng torque, i would suggest the hilux 3.0.

Hi taraki. Same tyo ng unit. Wala din yan features that u mentioned except for interior sensor. Nag alarm sya when I lock myself inside and make movements. Ganon ba sa states na nakakalimutan nila na may tao or pet inside their car? Weird. View ko lang ito. It might be useful for others. D naman nag auto lock if u leave all the doors closed.

I really wanted the double lock features para deterrent sa nakaw. Kaso wala sa XLT. Sana ito na lang yun available kaysa movement sensor. Applicable sa places na madaming carnaping. But usual modus is they held u at gun point.

I will share my experience today with one of the sales agent on one of the dealers here in manila. We broke a deal to have a black ranger for me next week. As I was searching around for this unit and found that he has has the only one that can supply me asap. Agreeing to the conditions he sets just to have the unit even if it means I have to shell out extra money amounting to 50k. I made a reservation for 10k, as he was very convincing.

He was demanding for the deposit slip so I gave him a scan copy and emailed. Since my bank that early morning have also sent out p.o. which he did acknowledged. After an hour of communicating thru text, he then called up and told me that the black ranger which was promised to me is now being given to other buyer.What d!!! He said the buyer gave him 5%d.i. and was the reason that it was released. Ganyan na sila ka sama ngayon. Walang kwentang kausap. At di pa kaagad makuha ang refund!

Hi yggyboy. Iba pa yun interior sensor which is motion sensor. security function din sya if somebody breaks in your car it will detect movement inside then will trigger the alarm.

The all-new Ranger left the playing field this year with a convincing win over the others - usually 6 (or more) pickups are tested all-in-all just like in 2010, when the Volkswagen Amarok at that time brought home the title from amongst its competitors, namely the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Triton, Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-max, and Nissan Navara. Perhaps for this year's comparison, the Chevrolet Colorado and the Mazda BT-50 saw action too although there was no mention about them....


But don't frown fella-Dmax'ers, our Isuzu came in 1st runner-up beating the yet another strong pretender to the title, the reputed VW Amarok, and edged out the others as well. Make no mistake about it, the D-max is also just a pretender to the crown, but it sits there high next to the Ranger LAVET haha!

2nd-placer - Isuzu D-max 2.5 iTEQ VGS twin-turbo (163 hp, 400 Nm torque from 1400-2400 rpm)

Congrats NEW RANGERS.....pero tanong ko lang po about sa parts and resale value...mahirap ba talaga ang pyesa ng ranger..lalo na after the warranty period..or palagi na lang nakatali sa casa...how about the resale value just in case gusto nating mag upgrade...unlike ng toyota na every corner may pyesa..gusto ko lng pong maliwanagan sa mga pasubali at agam agam na sumasagi sa aking munting kaalaman..
