Recently having a argument with ford. Contacted ford ph to complain regarding about our unit. All these DI, required extension of warranty are all Ford dealers BS schemes and ford ph threw a big question mark on why these dealers are doing it on us which shouldn't be. Why dont you guys try to send an email or complaint on their greedy schemes to ford ph to raise awareness.

Our side of the story goes like this. Our unit was bought around july 2013. Paid in cash and in full. But required us to pay for the extended warranty of 2 years as well as vkool tints. And thats okay given that it's an AT and just waited for a week. We requested that our plate number must NOT be ending in 1 or 2 as we usually use the car during mondays on going to manila. This was very clear and indicated on the papers and agreed by the SA and ford manila. This month the plate arrived and VIOLA it ENDS in 1. We didn't accept the plate and told ford manila just to refund the registration which we paid (which should be free when buying new cars), and we'll be the one to process it. They agreed, but we are arguing with them to refund as well the extended warranty which we paid as we don't trust their dealership anymore or requesting to transfer to other dealerships. Our side is, simpleng plate number request lang naman yun hindi nila magawa ng maayos paano na kapag malalaking bagay na. It's written clearly sa request tapos gugulatin na lang kami na 1 ang ending ng plate. Paano na lang kung may factory defect yung kotse and dapat covered naman ng warranty pero ganun naman sila kahirap kausap. So whats the point of having an extended warranty if they're a pain in the ass to talk with. More like they lost the trust that a customer has thats why we're requesting a refund for the extended warranty. Pati nga yung bedliner na may siwang eh, deadma na lang sila. Well, we're now coordinating with ford ph and ford ph is also writing a letter to ford manila regarding our case. Dont get me wrong. Ranger is a nice truck it's just the dealerships that are BS.

we are trying to buy a WT 3.2 in cash. sino dito ang may kakilala na good dealer na hindi nanghihingi ng puny3t4ng dealers incentive na yan.

Heard 6 months pila sa Ranger. Is this true>? So possible they charge DI because of the Ranger being a hot pick up right now.

Have not heard of the DI sheme on other Manufacturers

I'm interested on how this will turn out for you. Grabe naman pati yung sa bedliner. I really want to get a 3.2 WT panaman but grabe wala talaga nagbabago sa Ford Dealers.

We really need to do something about this in a big way! Use social media perhaps? Provocative photos like yung guy with his lemon Sukuki car. Unless more people complain and do something about it, nothing will happen l.

^Had my t6's bedliner replaced under warranty by ford pampanga. May siwang din sa bottom. Took about a month or so to be replaced because said bedliner had to be ordered. Only issue now with my t6 is occasional rattling at right a-pillar on low speeds.

Magkano ang nagastos sa 20 thousand kilometers PMS nyo? yung fuel filter kasama bang palitan? mag due na kasi sa akin. Thanks.

Cost me 9.5k for 20T km PMS. Includes Oil, oil filter, brake cleaner & labor. No fuel filter. I think they'll replace it on 30T km. Including air filter. I find the Ford's PMS cost very high. Other pick up PMS may just cost 6-7T only. What do you think?

Well some more observations to share with you. Did longer trip earlier this month to Legaspi and Bicol. Car had enough power all the time. Being one of the fastest on the road, well everyone knows how bad traffic is there. Riding it during daytime. The fuel consumption was about 6l/100km. But I found out one thing. When our driver rides the car for my wife, the fuel consumption is higher as I suppose he doesnt care, coz fuel is not coming from his pocket. Also I got canopy from OffRide. So I will try to upload the pic. All other is in stock conditions.

I have bought my Ford Ranger last October 2013 wherein kasama sa deal iyong free 3 years lto registration. Today, I have just received a call from my SA stating that my plate is already there and ready for pickup. She also stated na my plate number ends with "1".

Sabi nya registered na daw until December 2016 iyon so that would mean na next renewal ko would be on January 2017. However, meron sya sinasabi na need ko bayaran iyon registration extension which would amount to 850php since instead from October 2013 to September 2016 effective iyong registration, meron extension until December 2016 instead.

I have asked if meron sya copy of receipt from LTO wherein that additional expense was stated pero sabi nya from Ford Office lang daw na receipt iyong mapoprovide nya.

Ask ko lang po sana if anyone has encountered this scenario and should I really pay the said amount? Thanks in advance.

But I called my S.A last january about the plate (wala pa daw) but he didn't mention about the additional expenses. If I may ask sir, ano po ba ending ng plate number na nirequest nyo? Pati pala sir if possible pakiupdate po sana kami if meron po ba talaga additional fees if ever extended iyong plate registration. Thanks.
