In Malaysia they mentioned something about the Euro Mountune Performance upgrade. I wonder if this will be offered here?

This performance upgrade can boost the Fiesta's 120PS and 152Nm engine to 140PS and 170Nm.
This upgrade consists of a high-flow air induction system, a high performance exhaust system including high-flow catalyst and tubular manifold, and re-calibration of Ford’s 1.6-litre Ti-VCT Sigma engine to produce 140PS at 6750rpm and 170NM at 4250rpm.

Cakewalk. I can do the same thing with a full set of upgrades from Speedlab.

But I've been there, done that. It's fun, but you can't really go very far. I'd like to see how much boost that engine can take. Still... in a car that small, you don't need much power to get into trouble... errh... have fun.

id still wish they would launch the diesel variant....

got this from an australian website...

"The modern direct-injection 1.6-litre diesel Fiesta ECOnetic achieves a fuel economy figure of just 3.7 litres/100km with a C02 emissions figure of just 98 g/km"

"The ECOnetic is powered by a 1.6-litre TDCi diesel with a particulate filter that develops 66kW at 4000 revs and 200Nm from just 1750 revs"

The problem is still the price... Try to match a gasoline competitor price wise then you lose safety and convenience features...

As of today the price of the Jazz 1.5 in the official website is still P842K, when did they announce the new price?

yun lang.... pero sana they could just offer a premium unit of some sort dahil talagang the diesel variant adds a big chunk of awesomeness in the fiesta's package... but I hope reasonable yung price....

Wow my Civic FD 2008 1.8V AT was just P811K back then... 2 years then and the Jazz is more expensive than a 2 year old Civic back then...
