    2nd is okra

3rd is squash....... Something about it and bad grades according to my mom.... I got quite familiar with it when I was younger.

I think those three all go into one Philippine dish* or something; the one that I don't eat.

*Also had lots of string beans

Gee. That's my favorite next to garlic. I drown my Philippine fried rice in onions and garlic.

I also put a lot of onions in my omelet. Yum!

Eggplant. It has nothing but water in it. No nutritional value.

pero ang mga ayaw nating gulay, yun ang mga healthy and more nutritious!

basically, kahit na anong gulay na hindi green leafy, sometimes i do not eat. ayoko rin ng amoy ng talong, lalo na pag tinorta. i eat bell peppers pero i like them baked, hindi yun sahog sa pagkain

I picked out the unwanted stuff. I eat what's left which wasn't a lot.

Strangely enough, I like the broth over steamed rice.

Oh, I do like the string beans. Sitaw, right? But squash? Bleeeech.

Ahhh. Ok. So that spinach-looking thing in the monggo dish with pork and shrimp is called saluyot? I don't mind that so long as there's meat with it.
