Locally, we like David's sa T.Morato...
But honestly, sobrang layo mga resto dito compared sa HK, maybe because medyo fookien ang timpla dito kahit sinabi na HK style...

very true, kahit galing pa ng HK yung chief cook, iba pa rin yung lasa. yung late father-in-law ko, a few months bago sya pumawi, nagpasama sa HK para lang makakain ng HK foods.Originally Posted by theveed

Tried President and Waying. But once lang ako nakapunta. Kaaliw yung mga Chinese sa President eh, parang mga ibon.
Hirap ng parking dito sa Binondo during the time, tanda ko naglakad pa kami ng mahaba-haba. Ngayon kaya?
for some strange reason, lugaw ung hinahanap ko pag nasa chinese resto. i used to order congee sa david's frequently, kaso sobrang taga na ng presyo
kwento ko lang ha...i had a friend back in college, as in very chinese talaga ung upbringing/tastes(we once ate at their house, ung sinerve na dishes were *really* chinese). you know what his favorite chinese resto was?
chowking :D
di naman sa iniismol ko ung chowking; in fact kakakain ko lang dun kanina...but as chinese as he was, i kinda expected his tastes to be more sophisticated. oh well, kung san ka ba masarapan, e di dun na B)
yup
but i still beleive that its blasphemy :P hehehe
what irritates me the most is the price of their food in relation to the serving. mahal tapos konti.
pero aaminin ko kumakain ako ng breakfast nila tsaka milk tea hehehe
kanina kumain ako sa tasty...as usual, dami MSG...inantok nga ako eh...sleep muna me buti na lang di me nabangungot
Dami klase chinese food Szechuan, Peking, Cantonese or HK style etc etc.. pinaka masarap for Filipino taste buds Cantonese or HK style. Dito sa atin most of the resto mix fookien and canton ang lasa me konting taiwanese style.
