    BIR padlocks Manila restaurant

    The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Wednesday padlocked a restaurant in Manila for allegedly under declaring its sales by up to 90 percent.

    Sun Wah Restaurant located at 474 Florentino St., Sta. Cruz will remain close until its owner pay tax liabilities amounting to more than P8 million for the years 2012 and 2013.

    Sta. Cruz Revenue District Officer Maximo Cebrecus, Jr. recommended the closure to BIR Deputy Commissioner for Operations Nelson M. Aspe after his examiners uncovered alleged manipulation of tax records to evade payment of correct taxes.

    Audit showed the eatery under declared its sales by more than 90 percent in 2012 and 83 percent for the first two quarters of 2013.

    Under Section 115 of the Tax Code, a business establishment is liable to be closed if it under declares its correct taxable sales by 30 percent and more.

    The closure order was carried out as BIR Commissioner Kim S. Jacinto-Henares declared that “Oplan Kandado” is one her priority projects to enhance the level of voluntary compliance and raise P1.4 trillion billion before the end of the year.

    OK sa akin ang "Mamon Luk". Yung Special Jumbo Siopao at Beef Mami ang gusto ko whenever i passby Quezon Ave. Dati meron sa Pasay at Quiapo pero ngayun yun na lang ata ang nag-iisang branch nila. About Thai cuisine, Jatujak sa SM MOA, Singapore Hainanese chicken sa Hainanese Delights or Wee Nam Kee. In case other wants to try other than Chinese.

    Whoa thats odd. I cannot say that the service is superb but not that bad according to your description. Try mo sir sa daang hari bago magsouthvale if you are from alabang.
