that explains why inabuso siya ng gf niya dati
sa relationships yata niya he's always in a position where utang na loob niya sa girl na pinatulan siya
so he needs to constantly please the girl para mag stay
but eventually they leave parin
Wolfgang date na yan lol!

I remember my Lola tuloy when my dependent cousin got a disease that my lola considers very embarrassing to the family. Hindi naman HIV level pero may mga sakit na my Lola considers kahiya hiya. It makes me wonder if he will disclose it to others.

Well yeah, my Lola considers TB super embarrassing. Mas acceptable sa kanya mga "normal' na sakit like heart, hypertension, diabetes, asthma etc. What I noticed ang dami ngayon may autoimmune problems.

ganyang ganyan ang mindset nang mga castilalay na abuela y titas namin about koch's disease.
"kadiri!"
heh heh.
kami namang mga "educado",
"ok lang yan. ilang buwang paglulon nang tabletas lang yan."
my personal take on autoimmune diseases.
"they have been with us since time immemorial. we just did not recognize them as such."
very true.
doctors usually see disease a bit differently from what the non-doctors see.
for example, tuberculosis. i, and many of my colleagues, i daresay, see it simply as a curable illness, if managed early on. nothing more.
to others, it is a sign of low status in the societal hierarchy, i.e., something to be ashamed of. a family secret, if you may. a cause of low self-esteem. the classic example of "wala sa aming lahi yan!" harrumph!
we see TB in all walks of society, from the highest, staunchiest pillars of industry and society, to the so-called untouchables and dregs of society.
