Fully synthetic na kaya talaga yung bagong zic 10w-40. Nakalagay kasi sa likod fully synthetic, unlike sa previous x7 10w-40 na synthetic blend nakalagay sa description sa likod. SN plus na din pala ang API certification.

I treat it as synthetic blend, 5k or 6 mos OCI only. Priced like semi-synthetic so I don't mind the cost in changing every 6 mos. Besides, 1 year or 10k OCI is too long for our driving conditions.

Zic is a very big company. They supply base oils to different companies that blend oil
Lovely, they blend and their own consumer product oils. It explains why the cost is low.

Zic is our race team sponsor. They quite good for consumer products. Heavy on the blend but works wonders and provide longevity for your engine.

Matagal naman tumataas ang price ng zic. Upward trend na sya talaga since 2014 when i first used the brand and konti pa lang distributor

I used to get the Zic 5w30 FS oil for 350 to 380 per liter. Right now, mga 100 pesos more expensive na. It works well with the turbo engines of my vehicles.

I have just started using Xteer on one of our vehicles and it's good so far.

Bakit mas maganda zic sa turbo engines compare sa ibang brand na FS din?

I have used other FS oils before trying out Zic. Mas mura yung Zic eh but it works the same. I used to pay 600 per liter for FS oil in dealerships. Then here comes Zic for below 400 per liter, that's a good amount of savings every oil change.

I like Zic. My long-time supplier switched from Zic to Kixx. Probably due to the rising cost. Could you share your supplier and how much is the 6L jug?

PS. Is Kixx any good? Korean rin raw.

Is Zic X7 5W30 still a recommended engine oil that I can have the casa use for my upcoming 2018 Subaru XV PMS?

I have used Zic X7 5w30 FS for a long time on my 2016 Forester XT. Even Motor Image has nothing to say against it when I showed them that I will be using it instead of their casa offering.

I used to buy Zic X7 5w30 from a dealer in QC for 400 per liter. Nowadays, 450 na ata yung common price per liter.

During the last 12/12 sale ng Lazada, I bought 6 quarts of Mag1 5w30 which I will use on my next oil change for the FXT. Parang 395 per liter lang ata kuha ko nung Mag1.

As long as it meets the oil requirements stated in your manual, that would be fine.

Everyone of them have a version ft for your vehicle. Amsoil's signature series goes with extra protection. Zic x9 series is what I use, I dont like x7 for my elantra.
