white smoke at idle

Mga Sir what could be possible cause ng white smoke during idle only and sometimes pag reverse ko?Car is 7g Galant.I add only 1 liter of oil every 5 mos para lang ma top up. Is that bad already? Pati sunog ng sparkplugs ok and early morning startups nagtutubig pa. Di ko alam whats the cause. Do I need a compression test to determine if my seals needs to be replaced or piston rings maybe? TIA

AFAIK.
Unless there is no oil loss, you need not to add engine oil or else excess oil will create too much pressure that it gets past your piston rings and it may be one of the reason why white smoke comes out.

Too much oil may also cause too much heat and will eventually damage you piston ring and even the block.

Damaged piston rings will cause white smoke and some power loss.

Posibleng nagsu2nog na ng langis yan bro.
Better na ipacheck mo na po, baka kailangan na ng top-overhaul.

Check mo din ang radiator mo, if lagi kang kulang sa coolant or water then nagsu2nog ka na ng coolant. Posibleng kailangan mo ng magreplace ng head gasket cheif.

Have it checked as soon as possible.

Early morning condensation is normal. If you suspect engine is bad, see if you're losing coolant and oil at the same time, or if one or both are mixing.

Mga Ser thanks sa mga replies nyo. As for the coolant normal lang po. Di nababawasan ang reservoir and no over heating naman. Yung smoke pansin ko lang sa traffic pag titignan ko sa side mirron meron pero konti lang naman. Pag hataw ko wala po smoke.Gamit ko oil pala is Motul Htec 10w-40. Iniisp ko baka manipis kaya nababawasan. Thanks sa mga inputs nyo bros. Observe ko pa rin siya..

Yun sa akin bro, e nilalagyan ko ng collant sa reserviour half full. But after mga ilang days, pagmalamig makina nasa low na naman coolant ko sa reserviour but after driving ang makina and making it hot (without adding collant) then i check for the reservior, half full na naman sya. Normal lang ba yun pag hot yun engine?

Im using yun radiator cap na me button sa taas intently para bago mo buksan yun raditor during hot engine e u can press it muna to release yun pressure.Ok lang ba yun ganito na klase ng raditor cap?i suspect kasi na baka dun nag steam out yun coolant ko kaya nababawasan? Or baka blown na rin head gasket ko kaya ganun?
