kahapon, lumuwas ako ng manila, whenever lumagpas ng 3500rpm, iilaw yung check engine. sa itatabi ko at papatayin ko ang engine. mawawala na yung check engine.
that is one of the problems encountered by most of the patrols here in our place. once umilaw na yan it would come back again and again. most owners sold their units na lang. other when the check dngine lit up, it would run palyado without power then tama they sould shut off the engine the normal again. better have it checked sa casa. tama timing ng unit mo wala na warranty. hope that it is just a small problem.
Normally for an ECU equipped na unit it signals ang COmputer abnormality sa ECU mo.. that doesn't mean na may prob ka sa engine mechanical pero as per lord PJKID
I diagnose mo yan.... usually ang prob niyan ay nageeror ang one of your sensors.
(teka I am speaking for a ECU nang ISUZU though same ang principle I might be wrong din ha dahil NISSAN ka)

ARB, pina repair ba muna nila bago binenta? if not, hindi ba sila minura nung mga buyers? how much nila nabenta?
yung madalas na problema sa mga ZD30 ay fuel-related, and it's no secret that this engine is very sensitive to diesel fuel quality. baka nakargahan ka lang ng bad fuel and the ECU reverted to a fail-safe mode
sana ganun ganun lang, kasi sobrang (!) mahal yata ng mga piyesa ng makina na yan hehehe
baka nga fuel related yan ser boybi.

yung f-150 namin dati check engine din ung lumalabas.
tapos may mga sensor pala na nasira, kasi nasalinan ng velocity, eh dapat daw unleaded lang na fuel.
nde ko lam kung related.
pero binenta na lang namin yung unit as is.
sinabi naman namin sa buyer yung check engine, tapos sila na daw magpapagawa.
i know two sold them at around 1.2m. they had it fixed sa casa but the casa could not find any problem, it goes on and then it will not come back for a while then there again. i know that two have changed injection pumps already, one changed turbo and pump. this is a common problem sa mga patrols here. on the first models that came out lang, have not heard sa mga new ones. i pa diagnostics mo na lang there might be some sensors lang hopefully.
but seriously, nabanggit ni GlennSter sa akin dati na marami daw silang kliyente sa talyer nila na nagpatingin ng GU Patrol, marami daw cases of injection pump and fuel-delivery problems

boybi: hirap nga yan coz TECH2 yan. Dami electronics. Boknoy: TECH2 is same as OBDII?
kimps: if the 4WD light is always ON then 2 things you can check:
a. 4WD indicator switch. Location: under the dash, coming from the instrument cluster the wire is 0.5mm2 and colored LIGHT GREEN. Trace this and it goes to the 4WD indicator switch. On the other side of the switch is a 0.85mm2 BLACK wire. This is a normally open switch. Baka shorted na.
b. The other side of the switch is GROUND so baka naka short na sa ground yung harness kaya umiilaw.
