P4k per ignition coil 😳
Bakit parang walang CVT oil replacement? Also, do I really need all these?

X1R oil treatment?!?!?!
I see the Toyota casa is still up to their old tricks...
Engine flush (?), engine room cleaner (?) (prob. just some degreaser), engine room coat (?), Bactaklenz, decarbonizing??? Andami padding na cr*p stuff you don't really need.
Also, brake fluid for P240.85 each bottle? You can get almost 1 LITER of Prestone brake fluid na for that price...
7 hours to replace the ignition coils/
4 hours to replace the vlave cover gasket?
they've got to be the slowest moving employees
when you replace the vlve cover gasket, you need to remove/reinststall the ignition coils anyway.
the total time should not exceed two hours for a skill lever c
don't buy all the unnecessary items/services they offer. stick to the recommended service items in the owner's manual

2. Baktaklenz

I'm wondering nga parang I don't see CVT sa 40k pms
Thanks. Sabi ko bakit mahal, my SA said kasi 40k replace all fluids daw e bakit parang wala naman ako masyado nakikitang fluids there except for sa brakes. I don't see the CVT fluid

Cathy ... have a flatbed tow truck (why are they still called TOW trucks?) bring your car to ULS or whoever is willing to help you ... it's going to cost much, much cheaper and the work done will be much, much better ... that 7 hour labor charge alone is worth more than the towing service ...
PULL THE COROLLA out of casa ...
nagtanong ako sa isang store sa banawe ignition coil 2014 altis P1,850 each
does one really need "toyota genuine engine room cleaner" and "toyota genuine engine room coat"?
juice ko mga casa talaga
there are nine typical fluids in a regular car. some of them are not applicable to all cars.
1.motor oil/engine oil
2. automatic transmission oil
3.manual transmission oil/differential oil/manual steering gear(parallelogram, haltenberger linkage, cross steer systems)
4. brake fluid-DOT3,4,5,5.1
5. windshield washer fluid
6.antifreeze/coolant
7.battery electrolyte
8. fuel
9.refrigerant
any applicable fluid in your car has a projected service life.
stick with the car's owner's manual for fluid maintenance

Decarbonizing IMO is useful sa GDI engines and diesels with dirty EGR. For old-school port-injected gasoline there's no need really.
Early coil packs were a common point of failure talaga. I remember my friend would carry a full set of coils with him because his car (an Evo VII) would have one go bad every so often. Nakakatawa din we had a funrun to Antonio's in Tagaytay, and when we got there the first thing we see him do is pop the hood and start checking the coilpacks![]()
Na-doble yung engine flush dun sa quote nila.
Kung sakin, ito yung mga tatanggalin ko.
- toyota genuine gasoline engine flush
- x1r engine treatment
- engine decarbonizing
- gas injector cleaner
- toyota genuine baktalenz
- toyota genuine engine room cleaner
- toyota genuine engine room coat
- toyota car care(?)
when i went to toyota school in nishin nagoya a long long time ago, those things that your service advisor recommended were not included as routine maintenance items. up to now, those items are not to be found in any toyota owner's manual. when i used to work at a toyota, gm, mercedes, hino lexus dealership aside from oil/filter change included were: lubricate door hinges and locks, clean inspect brake components, check tire pressure, age and conditions among other pertinent items in the owner's manual

definitely skip the decarbonizing part. most likely this is the spray can type. it has little to no effect and to get that result 1 application probably is not going to be enough. real engine decarbonizing is through walnut blasting. if you use good fuel and change oil often this carbon buildup is greatly minimized anyhow.
Andito na rin yung to remove by other tsikoteers din. Thanks for the complete list. Yung gas injector cleaner hindi talaga needed? I googled a bit parang 50/50 yung necessary and unnecessary hehe
EDIT: I had the fuel injector cleaner removed, hinahalo lang pala sa fuel tank yun

Paalis mo lahat.

But I'm using it more often now dahil ganun pa rin maintenance cost whether gamitin or hinde. Pinagawa ko na 100th kms PMS na. Replace all fluids pati drive belt.
