I checked the oil, ganda pa ng color. Golden pa. Hindi din naman nagbawas

Re driver, naalala ko tuloy my Mom said malakas ako manakot or magpa nervous ng people around me [emoji23] Example one time sa plane the FAs were talking then I told my Auntie parang I smell something bad baka may engine problem. HAHAHA. My Aunt calmed me down but it was after some time na lang she told me she got so scared too [emoji23]

I told the driver sana makarating ka at hindi tumirik. Maybe that is why hindi siya nag AC hahaha

Ignore Doc ... he's doing an old blue or whatever his new nick is ... you took care of the car well ... it's just a minor issue ...

Doc wag naman dead cylinder, my impression is that's practically good as throwing my car away unless I get a new or overhaul my engine? I am getting so anxious already 😭 It will really break my heart at kamalas malasan ko if that's the case, 41k km car na alagang alaga. Hindi nga naa arawan and I personally detail.

I am praying na ignition coil lang as most people say here. Kasi that's a simple and non expensive fix ata

    "dead cylinder" simply means,
that cylinder is not contributing to the power generation of the engine.
a common fault is, the fuel mixture isn't igniting, i.e., something wrong with the hi tension, or there's not enough fuel...
it does not translate to major engine fix.

    in my last casa pms,
the SA was perusing his monitor screen for my data...
    "basic lang sir, tama?"
it appears, my "kuripot ang costumer na 'to. oil and filter only, nothing more" has been input-ed in their database.

    hahahaha

auto shops rate and classify customers too.
A+pays the bill and a handshake with a tip

    A-pays the bill no complaints

B- pays the bill and asks for something like freebies

C- customer pays but tries to nickel and dime the bill

D- shop tries not to entertain again

And the answer is IGNITION COIL! Valve cover gasket with oil leak too

I called 2 people when I thought my car was gonna tirik. Si Ahya (car guy ko since teens) and ULS. Ahya said could be CVT problem. Natakot ako! Uls said ignition coil agad

Those who said ignition coil, congrats hahaha! Thank you also to the rest that gave their insights. Kailangan na rin ng cleaning

Can you guys check ano pwede tanggalin sa 40k or okay na lahat?

Btw, I'd replace the 4 coils na as jick suggested.

Ignition coil 2 din ang sira ng sakin. What is with the 2nd?!?!

check the owner's manual for scheduled maintenance for the age, your mileage is low, so base all maintenance on the age of the car. you've come this far have all fluids replaced specially brake fluid. DOT 3 brake fluid is supposed to be replaced every two years

Universal ata talaga ang every 2 yrs replacement for brake fluid for any car. Almost all manuals I see ganun eh.
I came across a manual for a 70's era Volkswagen, and even with old school mechanical (non boosted brakes aka. "hydrovac" etc.), the maintenance interval for b. fluid replacement is 2 yrs din. (Interestingly, recommended oil API standard was "SE" pa- ancient)

Though scrupulous ako with oil changes and other fluids, my daily driver Vios (with less than 18,000 kms on the odometer) got its first ever brake fluid flush on its 5th yr.

Naman kasi, halos minimal brake wear, and only about 4-5mm from the full line binaba ng fluid (no top ups, ever) but when I checked the fluid for moisture content, nasa danger level na I must have been lucky...

If CVT has never been replaced, have it done ... it's very important ...

I asked my SA my car is only 41k and alaga, I feel like it's premature sira and she said probably because it's not used often nga 😳

Nakakatakot talaga tunog ng car, it sounded like a really old jeep.
