SWS (stick with stock...or NGK-5). its cheap, costs around 70-80 pesos, and it does the job.

just make sure you replace it every 10k kms.

minsan kasi pag gumamit ka ng mga iridium tipped or platinum tiipped, medyo nagkakaroon ng pagbabago sa takbo ng oto eh. and besides, these special spark plugs work better in tuned engines. kung stock lang engine mo, again SWS ka na lang...

+1 kay sir 1d4lv. Stick with stock, mura pa guarantisado pa. I have never been a believer of high end sparkplugs anyways. . .

+2 kay 1D4LV... stick with stock. If you want a fancy plug, get the iridium or platinum version of the stock plug.

High performance plugs often have different heights and temperature ranges from your stock plugs. If you know what you're doing, you can optimize your engine by changing to these plugs. If you don't, you risk poor running... but in the end, whatever power you can gain from high-po plugs isn't often worth the price.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Agreed with everyone. Stock plugs ka na lang. NGK BKR5E ata ang para sa makina mo kung di ako nagkakamali. Check your owner's manual.

In my opinion "upgrading" sparkplugs and high-tension wires is a massive waste of money for daily driven cars.

i settled na muna sa NGK standard plugs, mura pa hehe. they were installed yesterday plus timing adjustment. nawala na tope at lumakas na hatak. I did not know na pag luma na ang car, malaki tulong pala ang konting tune-up.

well.. all i can say is:

-for Japanese cars: NGK & DENSO
-for European cars: BOSCH (or get the ORIGINAL ones.. coz German engines are sensitive as hell!)
-for American cars: Autolite (good for almost all American cars/trucks/suv's, AC Delco (GM's), Motorcraft (Ford's).. but for the $$$, the Autolite's are good enough.

also, those Bosch Platinum 2's & 4's are pretty good also.. specially for Fuel Economy, although its expensive, they dont wear out as quick as the conventional "copper" style spark plugs. which I think is also worth it.. again for stock engines.

but for modified engines, though I would recommend using a non-platinum tipped spark plug. specially for Turbocharged engines. also use a 1 step colder spark plugs. (NGK 6097 baby!! good for engines from 350-1000 whp! coz thats what we use on our Supra's)

and also, about the Iridium type Spark Plugs.. again IMO, they are only good for stock engines (N/A or Turbo.. as long as they are stock and on stock boost). but if your engine is modded.. the standard Copper type Spark Plugs is the way to go! .. and gap your plugs accordingly as well.

    aite, peace.

Not all spark plugs are created equal. Some spark plugs can improve performance, while others offer long life. Some can make your lawnmower easier to start, while others resist fouling

You'd better consult your car manual and use what it recommends (type) but it woud be no different for the brand, i.e., you can use NGK Champion, Bosh, Nippon Denso etc. All made are not much different in quality but you must use the right type (cold or hot plug) according to the manual.

My original OEM Denso Iridiums lasted me for about 90,000 kilometers.
