About 1 liter sa tinakbong 3t km to 4tkm.

Naalala ko 2 or 3 weeks bago ako nag change oil (every 5Tkm) nag add ako ng 1 liter sa engine.

Malakas na konsumo ng engine oil kung ganyan. Mukhang piston ring may tama.

I have a very old diesel engine at hapos 1liter lang sa 10K kms ang konsumo.

Agreed, agreed, agreed. However, I would defer the overhaul... When the smoke is unbearable and the oil consumption is like 1L a week.

I have an Innova Grab car with the same dipstick smoke issue since 2016... Now 3 yrs later, 160k km... Still serves its purpose, no worsening of smoke, eats 1L oil every 6wks...just in time for its change oil

Did you own it from new? At what mileage did it start eating oil? Just trying to get an idea of this engine's lifespan.

No smoke from oil cap. Very little smoke from the dipstick, na pansin.

Another thing to look at would be the turbo oil seal. Is the turbo leaking oil?

Assuming no leak, if you want to be sure about the condition of the engine, get a compression test.

Seems they don't make them like they used to bro. I took an old school diesel to 300tkm+ and it still only had very little blowby.
