Dropped by last Saturday and got 4 quarts of 10w40 for my 323 - will stick with RP as this is the second oil change and happy with it so far.

OT: Finally met Migs in person and he's a nice guy. Had a quick conversation and got good advice. Migs, the theory is correct - replacing the 0w40 with 20w50 did not have any effect on the temps hehehe

Finally! was able to clear my schedule and nagpa-change oil na din ako using RP 10w-40 yesterday. Nice to meet you Migs! Very busy yung shop nyo kahit out of the way sa major roads.

15w40 is ch-4, ci-4, cj-4, ci-4 plus and sm.

Boss Migs question lang, bakit nababawasan yung engine oil ng corolla gli..
royal purple yung gamit ko, forgot the viscosity ng oil. sa speedyfix din ako ngpapachange oil,

i'll drop by to buy at least 2 liters ulit ng royal purple. yesterday i checked 1/4 na lang sa
dip yung oil. what seems to be the problem?

is the engine leaking oil? if so then that may be the cause. check also for smoke because if there's smoke then the engine itself is eating the oil thus the loss.

BTT: Change oil with RP 5w30 and change Differential and Transmission Oils with RP Max Gear...

been with RP 10W40 for more than two months already. right after the oil change, napansin ko agad ang ganda ng hatak nya. i wouldn't have missed that since the years i had my altis '03 (2nd hand) with toyota's 5W40 full synth, i've tried to live with the slow pickup kaya usually, "takbong mayaman" lang. parang me slight but noticeable delay pa kasi between depressing the gas pedal and the car actually picking up.

after RP, it had been a joy driving with it now.... except it had been a pain when it's time to gas up. before with the toyota 5W40 i average between 9.6-9.9 km/lit. city and 14km/lit. hiway. (i had been religiously monitoring my fc ever since). but now with the RP i can only get 8.0-8.4km/l city and 10-12km/l hiway. so still deciding whether to follow my heart or my wallet on this one, coz it had really been a joy driving this now with RP.
