AC Delco oils are pretty good stuff espcially for gas engines. The Diesel oil is CI-4. Don't know the prices.

It's pretty much one of the best engine cleaners your going to find, Very popular on the bob the oil guy forum. I have used it over the years as well.

Yes it's not cheap but worth it especially on a older engine with higher miles. Especially on diesels. It's about 20USD back in the states.
Something good to add every couple of years. I think it's worth it, not something you need to do ever oil change or anything like that. You just need to change your oil and filter after 800km after adding it.
if it will be every few years, i think its not going to hurt the wallet hehe
dvldoc, for your elgrand, what diesel oil are you using and how is your change interval?
I called up volmax marketing regarding baldwin oil filter and fuel filter, and totoo nga, the first thing they asked eh kung taga-forum daw ba ako. i told them yes, so i guess siguradong real thing ang ibibigay nila because if not eh Todas sila dito sa forum. Nakakatuwa lang kasi this forum really helps
The filter held up well, and the quality looks goot. The oil is pretty black but I guess those engines just run dirty, I would do a oil catch can and EGR blockoff to clean that up a bit.
Nearing 25k pms, makikita na natin yung loob ng baldwin . Nagtanong ako ng wix sa superior motors, walang pang 4d56. Next in line sana yung wix para madissect din natin after use. Anyone who knows kung saan may makuha?
Very informative thread dvldoc. I've shifted to Bosch from Vic oil filters for my Gen2.5 Pajero Fieldmaster (4m40). Would you know of the Bosh, Baldwin, or Purolator oil filter equivalent for the 1FZ-FE engine (80 Series Landcruiser) and the 2UZ-FE engine (100 Series Landcruiser)? I currently use Toyota OEM oil filters on these rigs. Thanks.
