It also carries the Cummins CES 20078 / 20077 / 20076 rating which is for extended drain intervals of 12000 miles/ 18000kms.

When you see that Cummins rating your good to go with extended oil change intervals. Due to the fuel quality in the Philippines I would keep it at 12000kms for a good safe oil change interval. This 5000kms is just madness and based on oil change intervals that are outdated on vehicles like that because oil have change a lot since the early 90's.

The Cummins rating will also almost have a TBN of 12 or more. Mobil TDT only has a 10.7 plus it's viscosity at 40C and 100C are clearly inferior and also don't meet Cummins standards.

Mobil MX

Mobil TDT
SAE Grade 5W-40
Viscosity, cSt (ASTM D445)
* 40ºC 97.9
* 100ºC 14.5
Viscosity Index 153
Phosporous (ASTM D4951) 0.11
HTHS Viscosity, mPa•s * 150ºC (ASTM D4683) 3.8
Sulfated Ash, wt% (ASTM D874) 0.95
Total Base #, mg KOH/g (ASTM D2896) 10.7

Anything with the Cummins rating feel free to use up to 12000kms, if you want to go further just do a oil analysis and it will tell you how much further you could go.
this is really nice doc! do younhave the same data for the RP 15W-40?
