Aside from that, wala naman ako ibang napapansin na problem. And also yun oil indicator light hindi po umiilaw kahit na low in oil na po ako.

I asked for the opinion of a friend who knows something about car, and he is recommending me to have the engine undergo a general overhaul para malinis po yun loob ng engine at mapalitan na yun mga nasunog/nasira na parts. Ano pong massuggest nyo sa akin? Kailangan ko na po ba ipa overhaul? Can u guys recommend a shop/talyer who have this service and more or less magkano po ang magagastos ko?

My friend found a shop which offers minimum of 25k for overhaul service, and depende daw ano papalitan sa loob kapag binuksan lang daw bago malalaman, possible na umabot daw ng 50k if madami papalitan. Do you guys think a general overhaul is the solution to my engine problem? And will my engine lasts after the overhaul? How about buying a surplus engine and pachange engine na lang po? I heard medyo mahal at madaming proceso sa pagpalit ng engine, kailangan din po ng bayad sa pagpalit ng engine number sa LTO. Thanks.
Why not have your car diagnose by another mechanic just to be safe if your car really needs a general overhauling. But a tita of mine had the same problem also an altis E a/t 04 model. Na general overhaul nga due to sludge. Naibalik naman though i'm not sure how much she spent but i think it's cheaper than 25k. It's also cheaper to overhaul than to change engine. The reason my tita's Altis got sludge was changing oil at 10k intervals. After that it was 5k intervals and did not have the same problems anymore until she sold it. The mechanic (Domeng) i posted in your post at other threads was the one who overhauled it by the way.
