I guess they want to find out why this morning e maingay and there is still a sound when they use the stethoscope

Because they don't know what they're doing. It's possible they put the wrong oil, put too much or too little. Lots of causes. It's also possible there's nothing wrong.

I hope there's nothing wrong but it worried me that they did not mind going to my house all the way from Pasig. It means they know the gravity of the problem?

cathy, like what i told you last night, newer Yota engines require 15w40 viscosity oil. check your manual and check if the oil used by casa was within spec.

The manual is inside the car Casa has been using 5w40 since I got the car brand new.

It makes me wonder if I should have opted from flush kasi baka may sludge nga na naiwan?

Yes. 18 yrs and no engine problem with my big body.

Hindi mo na pwede ikumpara yung toyota ng 1990s sa ngayon. Dati mga toyota maasahan. Ngayon marami recall at natigok na nangyari sa kaengotan ng toyota.

Honda ang consistent pag dating sa engine na matibay. (1996-2000 civic, 1st and 2nd generation crv parang tangke makina sa tibay. Virtually indestructible.)

Ang major lang naging problem ng honda yung continous variable transmission problem ng jazz 1st generation.

So I should have gotten an FD Bakit naman kasi out of warranty pa may lumabas na problema. And it had to do with the engine pa

That is what casa is implying! Bago ko i PMS perfect condition, pag uwi may tak tak tak na yung engine.

^Casa people just left. Sabi baka may damage yung valve kaya hindi nag self adjust. They will check it tomorrow morning pag cold start.

money can make stress go away pero may all new corolla ka na din. why do you need the 10th gen? kung may problem, sell it. wala ka ng sakit ng ulo. i'll buy it for 250k.

Dapat hindi muna. Observe mo muna dapat yun, if the same thing happens every morning. That is when you bring it to them (casa). Chances are, hindi lang nag-bleed ka-agad-agad yung isang tappet dun kaya umingay. When oil pressure took up the slack, nawala naman di ba.

Start with the basics muna, OBSERVE! Do not jump into drastic conclusions. Mamaya nyan, sa sobrang puro hula ginawa ng mga technician doon, binuksan makina mo, only to see na wala naman pala problema.

Cath, kahit hinde mo masyado nagagamit kotse, naluluma at masisira pa rin yan. Kaya nga lugi nga owners na hinde gumagamit ng kotse.

2. Ignition coil baka meron punit yun boots tumatalon ang kuryente

Self adjustment yan sa machine shop gagawin yan kung meron knocking sound or baka naman timing chain maluwag yun adjuster.

Yup. Pinuntahan na kasi nila sa bahay, might as well dalhin na nila. hehe. Tomorrow morning i check nila yung ingay pag cold start. But my service advisor said the car is there na and they are doing some tests.

Dati yun vios namin biglang palyado din pinasok namin sa casa tagal nag diagnose tapos sira daw yun injector 9k daw ang isa. ginawa namin pina pull out ko dito na lang sa amin ginawa damge P700 surplus injector.

^^^ yah, wala naman umaangkin ng thread mo, and everybody can post their opinion. all of the suggestion are being laid na on the table by other forumers.

i am not making fun of other persons misery. as i have said, i got a feeling na mas mahaba ito sa battery and aircon thread mo (di ko inaangkin ha, iyong iyo iyun). dahil mas complikado ang engine compared sa battery and aircon.


oh by the way, as an additional info, baka naman bearing ng aircon or alternator ang problem? kasi kung makina - mawawasak yan due to complexity of the linkage. unlike bearing with some alien particle on it na pwedeng madurog due to continues rotation.

to add up, wala naman pumipilit sayo na basahin reply ko eh.

Pinadala ko lang sa casa kasi right after my PMS nag start yung ingay nung pauwi na sa bahay. I thought they must have done something that caused the engine to make noise. And they must think so din since they sent people to my house to check on the car. I won't pay if they charge me. Hassle lang, if there is indeed an engine problem, are there mechanics outside the casa with enough knowledge to work on the engine since it's a relatively new car?
