But what to expect from casa if ever valvetrain problem nga? casa would just consider it as wear part since past 3yrs na. Altho low mileage, your car engine still spins everytime you start it or when get caught on traffic/short distances. Kaya sa machineries sinusukat ang life expectancy sa run-time and for cars it is 100k kms or 3yrs whichever comes first. Mukhang na-setup ka ng mga kawatan sa casa or apprentice trumabaho? goodluck.
My Dad taught me how to do it for my old car but I am afraid to mess with new cars. But I do plan to take a short course when I have the time. It's really hard to be clueless when it comes to engines etc.

Short city drives give more wear and tear as your engine starts and stops more, and you don't get to hit the optimal operating temperature. This is also where you can have more carbon and deposit build-up as the engine rarely stretches it's legs on the high rpm range for a long time. It's just like our bodies when we don't get proper exercise.

Having a low visco synthetic oil is good for you (i.e. the 5W-40 CASA oil) as this offers better protection during cold starts. I'd suggest before you go decide to go Liqui Moly or Royal Purple, go first to the shop and have the cylinder head opened and visual inspection done for sludge. For me that's a likely problem. It might not be major sludge problems but it may be present and the engine just needs a good flush or clean up, and a nice and long highway drive before you switch to designer oils.

If you want a good oil filter, drop CB a line. Maybe he can help get you some Baldwin BT223 filters. There are some sellers on sulit/olx as well.
I asked casa to check for sludge but my service advisor insisted that my car can't have sludge because it's new pa daw and regular PMS. They said owner parts are not allowed anymore. I wanted to buy LM and Baldwin for my gen 11 sana. It's just the same oil and filter for the 10th and 11th gen, isn't it?

Thanks for the link! So from regular oil you shifted to synthetic? I've been using synthetic ever since I got the car kasi. I wonder why casa did not mention adjusting the valve tappet.

It looks like I need to "hataw" the car as you and Vinj recommended Gaano kabilis ba ang hataw? Mapapagastos pa ko ng toll nito. haha.

Service advisor told me that there's "moisture" in one of the spark plugs. They replaced all 4 spark plugs and the noise went away daw. I told them I will just get the car tomorrow and check it again on cold start.

How the heck did moisture happen to one of the plugs? Then it means something is wrong with the engine talaga? Service advisor insists that sludge cannot happen to my car daw.

possible that they sprayed it with compressed air. usually kasi walang air/water separator mga compressor or hindi na-drain yung tubig.

So does that mean na damage yung engine ko? I asked for a report na nakaindicate yung spark plug with moisture just in case something bad happens to the engine in the future.

Moisture on spark plugs? Thats BS. Casa people are full of this BS..
By the time fuel burns in the chamber, those moisture should have been gone.

Baka moisture sa boot/caps. Every 10k kms sparkplug replacement diba? For sure they will charge you of SP consumable part yun.
