btw, i had modified the exhaust of my monty with performance and sound enhancement in mind. the stock 2" diam exhaust of montero is not that restrictive, but i opted to replaced it with all stainless steel 3" downcomer, 2.5" midpipe to tailpipe and matched with oval shape exhaust tips for aesthetics. the stock muffler was replaced with a bit bigger magnaflow muffler (single in/dual out) i bought abroad. spent total 25k+ for the materials/install. sa sound, since mas bigger yung muffler, result was mas deeper yung tone lalo kapag naka-idle. at cruising speed, walang pinagkaiba sa stock. inside the cabin medyo naingayan si wifey sa una pero since daily drive niya kapag nasa overseas ako, nasanay na. sa performance, i think may improvement din naman based sa butt dyno ko. i don't have figures to show kasi di naman ako nagpa-dyno run before and after the install. di pa uso nun ang ECU remap like ecutek, if meron na nun di na ako nagpa-modify ng exhaust, at 30k may kasama ng dyno, mas malaki pa yung power gain...its my next project

i don't know about jasma certified mufflers. i know about magnaflow, borla, flowmaster, cherry bomb muffler brands used ng mga amerikano. locally, meron borla meron kay a-toy bodykits and mga catback exhaust pipings. sa speedlab marami na rin installations ng mga exhaust modifications. you have to pay premium nga lang for the quality and workmanship...

i had my exhaust mod installed by by ELAA shop in mandaluyong. the guy name is Dante +09153429523/+09326019683. pulido naman gumawa, more than 3 years na mod ko so far so good. a lot of our club members na nagpamodify ng exhaust si Dante gumawa. he can even fabricate a muffler, exact copy ng mga known brands
nice pipe setup! your fabricator knows what his doing it starts at 3" and tapered to smaller diameter along the way, so when the exhaust gas reached the smaller diameter section it increase its velocity (like a tapered garden hose sprayer), plus it acts like a vacuum that sucks the gas behind thus helping the engine to evacuate the exhaust gas from the combustion, aaaand if you advance the opening of the intake valves it even sucks the incoming air at the intake manifold during the overlaps.

i have the same setup on my weekend car btw, thou it starts at 2.5" and tapered to 2" at mid section
