i think semi synthetic lang ang X7 10w40. in other countries kasi, kahit group 3 oil, they market it as fully synthetic.
i read in BITOG before na group 4 oil is no better than group 3. basta maganda additive package.

    Zic X7 10W-40 = P850 for 4L bottle.

He said Full Synthetic din daw ang X7 10W-40. Is this correct?

Semi synthetic ang x7 10w40. I wouldnt use any 10wxx. Too thick during start up. 5wxx dapat.

I finally found the holy grail...

    Castrol Edge FST 0W40 A3/B4 Group-IV

24bottles for 10,000 Pesos (equivalent), good for 3-6months

    Pour Point -60C
    Flashpoint 240C
    Kv100 13 (not so thick)

4th gear...engine sounds good 😊, lifters arent that noisy.

Better than Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 imo.

Really? "W" stands for winter. So I think the first number has no effect in Philippines climate.

All brands' factory fills are 5wxx/0wxx

There are exceptions from the statement above, like some hypercars asking for 10w60.

Hence most brands never use 10wxx for the factory fill.

Meron bang synthetic diesel engine oil na CI-4 Plus ang category? Puro CJ-4 class lang nakikita ko na synthetic. I'll be using it for my mu-X. I'm not keen on using CJ-4 because my ride don't have DPF anyway. I just don't know if synthetic oil means faster flow during start-up since mostly short trips lang ako (3-5 min. ride to office usually on more or less 3 km). Since tropical country naman tayo, mabilis pa rin ba ang flow ng 15W-40 during start-up kahit mineral oil lang siya? I'm thinking Caltex Delo 400.

Better to use Zic engine oil. If i'm not mistaken xW-30 ang requirements ng Isuzu

Which we had here in PH.
I'm happy using my Helix Ultra 0w40. Works better with Baldwin oil filter for my Vios
