If the price is right then go for it.

Also if youre going to use this on a mivec mirage, better to use xw30 or xw20.
Car is Mitsubishi ASX 2.0L 4B11 MIVEC.

Do you happen to know the viscosity of Mitsubishi Turbo XP Full Synthetic Oil? Yun kasi nilagay ng casa last oil change.

I think they have 2 turbo xp fully synthetic oils a 5w40 and 5w30.

The monteros use 5w30 fs turbo xp for diesel.

Your 2.0 mivec can take 5w40 and it does ask for api sm. If the Lexus 4L bottle is less than 1300pesos go for it.

I would just use a zic x7 5w30 api-sn oil. Its cheaper and you will have better fc. I would reckon zic will have a better additive package than that lexus oil lol.

An OLX seller actually quoted me:

    Zic XQ 5W-40 = P2200 for 4L bottle.
    Zic X7 5W-30 = P1850 for 4L bottle.
    Zic X7 10W-40 = P850 for 4L bottle.

He said Full Synthetic din daw ang X7 10W-40. Is this correct?

Whereas sa Zic X9, ang nakalagay sa Description ay "ZIC X9 5W-40 is a fully synthetic motor oil..."

As long as it meets your engine requirement, I don't think it would an issue.

I have switched to zic x7 10w30 from mobil 1 tdt as far as I've gathered, maraming nang fake sa mobil 1 tdt.

The issue is advertising a product as "Full Synthetic" whereas it is only "Semi-synthetic". Not that it does not meet the requirement of the engine.

Other sites says ZIC X7 10W-40 is Semi-synthetic:

    Hi Tech Lubricants Ltd

"ZIC X7 is a semi-synthetic formula engine oil coupled with the latest API SN grade, and is engineered with SK's proprietary technology..."

Gumamit ako once ng 5w-30 ng mitasu pero bumalik din ako sa mag 1 of the same viscosity kasi for some reason tumaas konsumo ko pero generally pareho lang naman rota ko.
