    stretching oil-change to 1 year interval whatever the reason, is not a good idea IMO. but if you really need to stretch it that long, i would suggest using a genuine fully synthetic engine oil(0-w30 or 0-w40) but do an oil-filter change every 6 months plus about .5 to 1 liter of the same oil to compensate for the oil loss in the filter. some of the guys do this here right after break-in. not advisable also for vehicles with blow-by manifestations hehe
