Di lang 30 mins. That's why the traffic condition there is already a case of extreme driving conditions. Hence the need to do maintenance more often. This is further worsened by family drivers who leave the car idling in the parking lot, with their feet on the dashboard... I see this everytime in Megamall. Oh boy...
Ok lang yan, you know your car is not abused and that's better. Besides, di naman nakakabilis yung mga trike. Oras na warmed up ka na ayos na yun. Ako rin I keep it below 2000rpm and 30mph, minsan 25mph pa para safe. I don't mind being passed, once I reach operating temp ako naman mag-overtake.

Ako din hindi nagpapa init ng makina sa umaga. Pag start drive agad pero mabagal lang. By the time makalabas ako ng subdivision namin, mainit na yung makina.
Ang hindi ko ginagawa is yung mag rev hard ng engine right after starting it lalo na sa umaga. Kaya after starting it sa umaga wait lang ako ng 3 to 5 seconds para maka ikot yung oil sa makina.

Siguro to make the statement clear....idling is unnecessary for your engine..Kasi hindi naman ata pwedeng sa kasagsagan ng traffic tanhaling tapat e magpapatay ka ng makina tuwing maaabutan ka ng red light.
Kaya sigurong sinabing idling is bad, because it wastes fuel. Altought may bad long term effects..siguro naman minimal lang. At ang mga kotse sa pinas ay designed for heavy traffic.. (yung newer models)

No vehicle was ever designed to be idled for long periods of time. Kung ganon yung mga sasakyan, eh di generator na lang yung ginawa instead of that. Any vehicle idled for long periods will develop carbon deposits in the engine, be it in the combustion chamber or sa sparkplugs, or kung san man. That's why pag yung kotse ay nasanay sa stop and go traffic, sabay binanat sa highway, pakiramdam ay hirap siya. On other boards, the "cure" is to give it an "Italian tune up" once in a while. Hatawin mo para ma-declog siya of carbon deposits.
Tapos idle ka ulet

korek ka dyan mbeige. ako, once a week i treat my vehicles to such tune-up(Italian, that is). maihataw lang at least once para maalis yung mga carbon deposits. lalo na sa diesel. linchak ang belch nun kapag hinahataw e. pero after naman nun, balik na sa sober driving.
