Has anyone heard of GTOil / NOW12? Is this a scam?

However, your declaration that it is the oil that makes the compression rather than the piston rings is a bit too stiff for me to digest. I do overhaul compressors with pistons the size of an ICE. Out of curiosity I inserted the piston in the cylinder without oil lubrication and guess what? I could feel the resistance of the air when the piston is pushed in the cylinder, indicating that the piston is compressing the air. If air leaks through it us minimal to be considered. The compression rings see to it that it is compressing the air.
Now, applying this to an ICE, the piston has 3 rings, 2 for compression and 1 for oil scraping. The work of the oil is nothing more than just to enhance compression, which any ordinary oil can do. Oil film adheres to cylinder and the rings, upon the TDC, the ignition is done. All AF mixture is then burned within the cylinder space. At the start of the power stroke, the piston goes down and the oil ring is scraping the oil film which adheres to the cylinder. If and ever if, for every combustion a certain amount of oil is burned, then the engine is loosing oil which will be detrimental to the engine. Now, going back to my first query, is the GTO able to withstand the combustion temperature that it is able to retain its properties and convert the carbon soot back into usable lubricant as claimed?

Now, listen. I have been using an oil additive that leaves a teflon coating in the moving parts that it enhances lubrication and protects the engine against wear and tear. By using this, it improves my fuel efficiency as it creates less friction as teflon is the world's slipperiest element. My engine is now running more than 300K km without major breakdown. I told this to a friend and he uses it on his station wagon. One time, while driving, he hits an obstruction cracking his oil pan. Oil leaked and after driving few kilometers, without his knowledge, there is no more oil in the crankcase. He continued to drive for more than 5 km till he reached home. the next day, he was surprised that there is no oil in his engine but the engine is still working perfectly. A friend was drag racing and been using this brand. His vehicle is a mopped up owner but no car can beat him, not event he much vaunted SRI. Shall I tell my other friend, a dirt biker who . . .? Sounds familiar?

Now, I've learned that this product is manufactured in China? China?

US technology, Russian technology, they are all made in Taiwan?

1. You claim in your previous post that I "pretended" to be a "bulk" buyer...was I? In istorya.net, i merely inquired how much was a 250ml GTOil, how many do I need for my innova and where to buy...that all, now, at what point in time did i pose myself to be a "bulk" buyer? hence, your claim is baseless and deceitful.

2. Another deceitful claim is that I was trolling in istorya.net, was I? no, as stated, i merely made inquiries after reading the post of the members praising GTOil after they applied it to their engine. I do believe you were referring to another member in instorya.net who questioned about the cost of GTO...hence insinuating that i was trolling is again a baseless claim...

3. as regards "branding" GTO as a scam...I think you understand that I posted a question, right? If the conclusion of the experts here na scam talaga yung GTOil mo, then that is it. 7. yes, its true that there are exceptional persons who, though not an engineer yet was able to build the Arc, nor a car builder but was able to build Rolls Royce, or housewife but became the president, etc., but again they are more of an exception than the general rule..., well, i just belong to the latter.

8. Finally, I think you should answer the issues direct to the point, rather than accusing me of something of which I am not...otherwise your arguments fall under the fallacy of "argumentum ad hominem"...

1. Please clarify how I made claims and how it's baseless if you can; but this is only if you wish to expound more on this;
2. I don't owe anything to anybody; As far as I am concerned, those who think I owe them something - already got a lot in return whether they admit it or not;
3. Please refrain from this habit of branding anything, unless if you are already a judge, first you branded GTO as a Scam, then now you are Branding GTO users are GTO Followers - this is very insulting, I certainly hope you are not insinuating that "The GTO Followers" are naive and blind followers of a cult;
4. If there's anyone who owes anything to anybody... that would be you! You owe the "GTO Followers" as you have termed or branded them AN APOLOGY.

Starting a thread with this title is hard to discount as one with a malicious intent.

It also starts to raise the following questions:

1. Who are you working for?

2. How much are they paying you?

3. If you just needed a change oil, why go to the extent of lurking the Cebu forums, Harassing the members therein and insiting a publicity stunt here in tsikot?

Just want to point out that - People in the provinces are more conscious about their KPL Ratios - compared to Manilenios who simply don't care about the fuel they throw away in traffic. Now who is thinking better? (now this is a rhetoric question that does not require an answer.)

The TS wanted to know if this product was a scam and upon studying the website/blog of GT0il it would appear that it is from my point of view. My previous post would highlight the numerous red flags that would indicate a scam. Gt oil best for hydrogen powered vehicles? donate to save the environment section in the gtoil blog?

I do, and so I've read every post in every page of this thread. That's why I was able to conclude that enrickho's claims was proven otherwise by my co-tsikoteers. Not by just stating opinions, but by stating strong points against him.

And have you seen enrickho's last post? He clearly said that he will just wait for his so-called students to learn and eat popcorn during the process. Don't you consider it as a sign of giving up, of waving the white flag, a sign of surrendering? I do. And that's how I ended up to my conclusion that he was owned by my co-tsikoteers who fired with again, very strong points.

I do not need to try the product to see whether it's true or not, I'm not that stupid to waste my 700 pesos to a product that's visually unappealing.
