    Hi,

Bought a second hand fortuner (2005) and thinking of changing the timing belt as the previous owner has not changed it yet. Any idea how much this will cost and which workshop can do this best? Sa may Paranaque area ako nakatira so somewhere dun sa area would be good. Odo reading is at around 85K but not sure if this is original milleage and I think best to change para peace of mind. Salamat.

Kung gas variant yan, chain type sya. Walang timing belt.

Kung d4d pinapalitan ang timing belt. Kaya naman.yan ng any decent mechanic. Basta maipantay nya lang timing marks before tanggaling timing belt

You can also replace the following:
    - T-belt (get original)
    - tensioner bearing
    - water pump
    - serpentine belt

Replace all fluids na rin (differential, ATF, power steering, coolant) para fresh na fresh, and the fuel filter.

I recently inquired for the 2.5 D4d engine (Grandia) at Toyorama in Banawe and was quoted as follows:
    ATF - P 441 per L or P 1,300 per gallon (Toyota T IV)
    Serpentine Belt - P 1,800
Gear oil (for the differential) - P 260 per L

Di ako bihasa to do it myself so did not consider dong it myself.
