Hi sir DD. Just when i thought ok yung pajero did 3.2 ko, eto na problema. Tumataas temp nya at napupunta coolant sa reserve. Nag konsulta ako sa mekaniko at sinabi nya na malamang daw ay yung thermostat. Bumili naman ako at tapos na mapalitan ganun pa rin. Umuusok rin sya ng puti pag bagong start, pero pag mainit na engine nawawala naman. Sabi ng mekaniko dapat daw palitan yung radiator cap at yung cylinder head gasket dahil tubig daw yung usok na puti. Ano sa palagay mo problema neto sir? Me posibilidad din kaya na sa turbo may problema? Ty in advance sir DD. Btw sir, nasa abroad ako ngayun, as much as gusto ko dalhin jan sasakyan hindi ko magawa kaya bayaw ko nag aasikaso ng sasakyan. Ty sa advice sir.
Sir regarding injector nozzle :, due to a bad experienced about clogged or bad spray pattern, would you recommend to check first the cleaning of an injector fluid preferably before a long provincial sunday trip in order to avoid unnecessary problem and just how much is the prevailing nozzle cleaning service fee and do i have to watch out for the technician as the tip might be replaced? TIA

I need help on my '98 Mitsubishi Adventure, 4D56 Engine.
1st During cold start po, mausok siya, white smoke coming out continuously, pero mag mainit na, wala naman na, at parang sinisinok yung makina, lakas din ng vibration. I have 4 glowplugs replaced less than 3 months ago. normal ba to sa lumang diesel engine?
2nd is Black smoke coming out kapag pa-ahon or arangkada.
hindi ko na alam saan ako magsisimula, kasi po this past few years madami nadin akong pinagawa dito sa truck ko, since I'm kinda restoring it and doing preventive maintenance. eto po mga pinagawa ko;
Engine calibrated back in December of 2011.
Nozzle tips replaced around July 2012.
Last change oil Sept. of 2013.
My aim now is to eliminate if not reduce this black smoke coming out. nakakahiya minsan nag i-slow down mga nasa likod ko pag umaarangkada, tapos minsan nag ba-bright pa ng ilaw. heheh

2nd is Black smoke coming out kapag pa-ahon or arangkada.
Replace air filter and/or calibrate injection pump if black smoke is still present after replacing air filter.

If you are you thinking of using an injector cleaning fluid, I don't know if it really works.
Dirty nozzles can sometimes be cleaned; faulty nozzles cannot be cleaned.
Ty sa reply sir dd, yeah nauubos. Ang nangyari, pinalitan na head gasket, pinarepace syempre sa machine shop ok na. Me problema na naman na nakita, yung puller ng turbo, me play daw. Umaalog sa madaling salita. Pina recondition yung turbo pero me konting usok pa rin, sa egr daw me leak. me butas sa madaling salita. Ang ginawa ng mekaniko sir, bypass ng egr. Ngayun wala ng usok, pero duda ako kase kasama ng design ng sasakyan yung egr dba? Ano kaya pwede gawin sir, hayaan ko naka block yung egr o kailangan ko bumili nito. Thanks again sir dd..

Thanks you sa reply sir DD. May isa pa ko tanong, sabi ng bayaw ko yung thermostat ng ck ko tinanggal yung valve, ibig sabihin free flowing na yung coolant na sabi nung mekaniko ok lng daw kase di na mag ooverheat. Napansin nya na hindi talaga tumataas temperature sa normal level. Question ko sir, ok lng ba yun ginawa ng mechanic? anung pros and cons kung sakali? Thanks again sir DD.
